I FIND READING BORING! I hate to read. It is my very most least thing I want to do. But I am still a student and reading is a must so somehow I forces myself to read a book or an article. Sometimes when I am reading from the internet or from an e-book, I put some music on to keep me from falling asleep. A drink? I drink hot coco but not coffee. I don't think I isolate myself from others just to read but maybe I will if the people are noisy. Sometimes I fixed some time just for studying and sometimes I read when I feel like reading. Unfortunately, I don't understand the contents right away. I sometimes find myself daydreaming while reading. That's why I read again the text for 2 to 3 times or until I get to understand what I am reading.

Hi, first of all, I prefer to read without any music on. Music distracts my concentration. Sometimes,though, I grab some chips or cookies to nibble while reading. I usually read before bed time. The ritual makes me fall asleep easily. I love reading. It informs, widens my horizon, and brings me to other worlds.

1) do you turn on the music? no 2) do you fix yourself something to drink? sometimes. either green tea or hot chocolate 3) do you isolate yourself from others? yes, this is ideal 4) do you fix the time for reading? yes 5) do you understand the contents instantly or you have to read for the 2nd, 3rd time? most of the time it's pretty straight forward 6) DO YOU FIND READING BORING? nope not at all . it's something i find highly entertaining, and if it weren't i definitely would not bother

Hi singlepixel! Sometimes I do turn on the music if it suits my mood while reading, and i just turn on the volume very softly. Actually, I really don't fix anything to drink because I know after i have read a few pages, i will fall asleep depending if the story is really interesting. haha.. Yes i do isolate myself when i am reading. I usually go inside my room and at my bed. I really don't have a fix time for reading. Yes, i do get to nderstand the contents instantly and sometimes, when i get bored with it..i read the first pages, then i go the last pages...and just browsed on the middle pages if i want more details. haha.. I used to love reading books but i got into mylot which gave me no more time left for reading. And of course reading does not bore me. What bores me are the stories that i read. haha.. Sometimes I turn on the music, but music has to be light, mellow and for easy listening. I isolate myself fron others, because only then that I could concentrate on what I am reading and I could uncerstand the contents instantly. Usually, I read at night-the perfect for all those conditions. Lastly, reading is definitely not boring; it's the material which you read that makes it boring.

Theres something with me that doesnt let me enjoy reading if there is chatter around. I couldnt read in train for example because i would be interested in the various imputs around me. Whan i read i try to isolate myself, and have less noise if possible. I cant listen to music while reading because music is something that has to be appreciated deeply just like reading a book. The comprehension varies. Sometimes i read very complex literature such as Gadda's "La cognizione del dolore" and in that case i had to read the whole book twice to have a better understanding. Usually i do get it on first run, but with good books a second read gives more. Finally reading isnt boring at all, there are some boring books however.

I LOVE to read. I never had music on or the tv when I am reading. I always have my glass of water with me when I read. Sometimes I fix myself some popcorn as well. I absolutely prefer to isolate myself, but with a 9 year old daughter it is hard to d o that. Actually most of my reading is done in the bathroom. Even though my daughter comes in all the time, if you have kids you understand this, I still can get some reading done. Other than the bathroom my reading is done when my hubby is at work and daughter is at school or late at night after they have gone to bed. I really don't like to be interrupted when I am reading. The way I fix time for reading is by keeping my book in the bathroom. Most books I understand right away, but there are definitely times when I have to reread. I do not think reading is Boring. It is a wonderful thing, it keeps my mind sharp, it takes me to places I wouldn't go to otherwise, it allows me to vacation without spending too much money, it allows my imagination to go wild, and it just plain makes me feel good.

I love reading...especially those tagalog pocketbooks!wahaha When i'm reading, I prefer to be in a nice and quiet place like in my bedroom, so basically I isolate myself from others and I fix myself something to drink. And yes, I do understand the contents instantly, but when I like the lines, I do read them twice or thrice and sometimes aloud...hehehehe Take care. *smile* ciao! c",)

frankly,i love reading.but i have no enough time to do that because of the damn work.on the other hand,when there is just a little time,usually,i spend it on reading.the story about heros is interested to me,i lose myself into it and forget any other things.about the interesting chapter,i take them forever. so,reading is very funny,isn't it?
