I am going to try and post Helpful Hints from time to time and hope to get lots of all of your guys tips in return. I will also like any comments on how these ideas worked or FAILED for you. Im looking forward to hearing from everyone.
SHOWER CLEANER/SOAP SCUM REMOVER (WITH NO HARSH CHEMICALS)
Simple and resourceful too! Simply wet a handful of used dryer sheets and use them to wipe down the walls and floor of your shower. With minimal scrubbing, the soap scum is easily removed leaving your shower clean and fresh smelling too, without any chemical smell. It really works! I do use an actual bathroom cleaner for the shower floor and bathtub just because I want to be sure that no germs are left waiting for my family.=)
3 THINGS YOU CAN USE TO CLEAN YOUR ENTIRE HOUSE.
These are things that most of use have around the house that can be used all the time to help you around the house or as a backup if you run out of your favorite store bought cleaner. I have a friend that only uses these because they are safe for pets and children and are much cheaper then buying a cleaner for every cleaning job.
1)White Vinegar-Great for windows, faucets and basically anything else
2)Baking Soda-If you have something that needs a good scrub make a paste by mixing baking soda and water great for: toilets, tubs, sinks ect. I use baking soda on the carpet before vacuuming the carpets.
3)T-Shirt rags instead of buying cleaning cloths.
These are also great for anyone trying to save money.
WOOD FURNITURE CLEANER
Mix equal parts Lemon Juice with Olive Oil. The mix cleans well and will leave a nice shine with a natural lemon sent. Also good if you have a pet or kid that chews on things, you dont have to worry about the cleaners harming them. (note im not saying let your child teeth on the dining table.);)
Well thats it for now next time I will be focusing on tips that should be helpful for the HOLIDAYS!

I've got one. Shaving cream(not gel) has worked wonders for me. It has helped remove permanent marker from thecouch, lasagna from my couch, and works wonders on pet stains on carpets too. I use a small scrub brush to really work the shaving cream into the fabric, wet sponge, to clean up the majority of the mess, let dry vaccum and presto.

Hi BinksBaBy,
These are some really great ideas, both for saving money, and avoiding harsh chemicals. I've re-used dryer sheets for quite sometime, but not in the ways you've mentioned. They're also great for cleaning the tv screen, but I don't wet them, and for doing dusting jobs, as the dust really sticks to them. Another thing I do, is to use baby wipes to wipe off the carpet after a spill, or after my cat throws up on it. She's a longhair, so has lots of hairball incidents. The wipes work really great. Take Care.

Thanks! Oh I know the wonders of baby wipes too, I use them on so many different things (other then baby bottoms)
They do wonders on cleaning shoes too. I dont have a cat but they also work good to start the cleaning after a child throws up. Thanks for sharing!

You have listed a few very good solutions to cleaning. I use vinegar for a lot of my cleaning chores. I, too, use it on my windows, but it is also good for cleaning vinyl flooring. It leaves a really good shine. And it has natural disinfectants in it. I pour some in my toilet bowl and swish it around and then let it sit for about 10 minutes before flushing. It also leaves a really sparkling shine.
I have never cleaned the shower with dryer sheets. I will have to give this a try. I have never heard of anybody else ever doing this.
I don't use old t-shirts for rags. I find that they just spread the water and not soak it up. What I use are old terry cloth towels. I just cut them up into rag size and they work great for me.
For dusting I use Murphy's Oil mixed in water. It too leaves a nice shine.
But all your ideas here are great if you run out of other cleaners. I was a owner of a cleaning company for 5 years and I could only use disinfective cleaners. I had to make sure the job was done right or I wouldn't have had very many customers.

I also use vinegar on my floors. I use old shirts for some cleaning but I do agree towels work better, but the reason I put shirts was because basically everyone has old shirts but not everyone may be able to part with towels! But I do think towels are best! I also have to admit I use a disinfective cleaners everywhere they are needed!

best formula for stains in clothes, we call it the "magic formula": equal parts of regular dawn and hydrogen peroxide. I keep it in a bottle. My daughter recently got her tan pants covered in red kool-aid and it sat all night. I tried everything but put the majic formula on and soaked it in cold water, I did have to repeat and now you can't see it.

Bed Sheets
After drying my sheets, put both sheets and one pillowcase in the other pillow case. Fold neatly in a square. Next time you change sheets, you just take the one pillow case and all the sheets and pillow case are inside. No need to look for matches.
Clean your glass shower
To clean the glass in your shower easily, apply lemon juice to the glass with a sponge. Then, take newspaper and wipe the lemon juice off the glass. It will be clean and sparkle with no scrubbing!
Reheat Pizza
Heat up leftover pizza in a non-stick skillet on top of the stove, set heat to med-low and heat till warm. This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza. I saw this on the cooking channel and it really works.
Easy Deviled Eggs
Put cooked egg yolks in a zip lock bag. Seal, mash till they are all broken up. Add remainder of ingredients, reseal, keep mashing it up mixing thoroughly, cut the tip of the baggy, squeeze mixture into egg. Just throw bag away when done easy clean up.
Expanding Frosting
When you buy a container of cake frosting from the store, whip it with your mixer for a few minutes. You can double it in size. You get to frost more cake/cupcakes with the same amount. You also eat less sugar/calories per serving.
Reheating refrigerated bread
To warm biscuits, pancakes, or muffins that were refrigerated, place them in a microwave with a cup of water. The increased moisture will keep the food moist and help it reheat faster.
Newspaper Weeds-Away
Start putting in your plants, work the nutrients in your soil. Wet newspapers, put layers around the plants overlapping as you go, cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic, they will not get through wet newspapers.
Broken Glass
Use a dry cotton ball to pick up little broken pieces of glass - the fibers catch ones you can't see!
No More Mosquitoes
Place a dryer sheet in your pocket. It will keep the mosquitoes away.
Squirrel Away!
To keep squirrels from eating your plants sprinkle your plants with cayenne pepper. The cayenne pepper doesn't hurt the plant and the squirrels won't come near it.
Easier thank you's
When you throw a bridal/baby shower, buy a pack of thank you cards for the guest of honor. During the party, pass out the envelopes and have everyone put their address on one. When the bride/new mother sends the thank you's, they're all addressed!
MINE!!!!!
If you purchase a new bike for your child, place their picture inside the handle bar before placing the grips on. If the bike is stolen and later recovered, remove the grip and there is your proof who owns the bike.
Flexible vacuum
To get something out of a heat register or under the fridge add an empty paper towel roll or empty gift wrap roll to your vacuum. It can be bent or flattened to get in narrow openings.
Reducing Static Cling
Pin a small safety pin to the seam of your slip and you will not have a clingy skirt or dress. Same thing works with slacks that cling when wearing panty hose. Place pin in seam of slacks and -- voila -- static is gone.
Measuring Cups
Before you pour sticky substances into a measuring cup, fill it with hot water. Dump out the hot water, but don't dry the cup. Next, add your ingredient, such as peanut butter, and watch how easily it comes right out.
Foggy Windshield?
Hate foggy windshields? Buy a chalkboard eraser and keep it in the glove box of your car. When the windows fog, rub with the eraser! Works better than a cloth!
Reopening envelope
If you seal an envelope and then realize you forgot to include something inside, just place your sealed envelope in the freezer for an hour or two. Voila! It unseals easily.
Conditioner
Use your hair conditioner to shave your legs. It's a lot cheaper than shaving cream and leaves your legs really smooth. It's also a great way to use up the conditioner you bought but didn't like when you tried it in your hair...
Good-bye Fruit Flies
To get rid of pesky fruit flies, take a small glass fill it 1/2" with Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of dishwashing liquid, mix well. You will find those flies drawn to the cup and gone forever!
Get Rid of Ants
Put small piles of cornmeal where you see ants. They eat it, take it "home," & can't digest it so it kills them. It may take a week or so, esp. if it rains, but it works & you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!
Take baby powder to the beach
Keep a small bottle of baby powder in your beach bag. When you're ready to leave the beach sprinkle yourself and kids with the powder and the sand will slide right off your skin .
