What did you do before you found My Lot?

Before I found My Lot, I blogged a little daily. Most times I didn't write about stuff going on in my personal life. But, I always wanted to do that. I had all this stuff bottled up inside me that was aching to get out. I don't live close to any of my friends, so it was tough to deal with. And, then I found My Lot.
Before My Lot, I didn't hang out at My Space or any other networking site. I tried My Space for five minutes and then got bored with it. I know there are fifty million people that would disagree with me on that. But, I just didn't like all the ads cluttering up my home page. Very tacky. And, there was way too much spam.
Anyway, that's what I did before I found My Lot. What did you do before you found My Lot, when you wanted to express your feelings or journal about the stuff going on in your personal life? Did you join another social networking site? Blog your feelings? Talk to a friend online?

I just discovered Mylot through a friend and Im now an avid addict after only a 24 hour period. I love discussing anything with anyone and try to keep a very open mind. I love myspace too...dont get me wrong, but at least here I can be constantly doing and discussing something which is awesome for me! Im a talk a holic you could say... If im not on the phone, im on the computer. And if Im not on the computer Im talking to my kids or am with friends...Im a total social butterfly and this site is absolutley Awesome!

I was in Gather myself. I still go there also besides mylot. Mylot gave my a break from gather and it still does from time to time. I like both places although I have seemed to gain enemies in Gather. Not recently but in the past.

Before I found myLot I had no idea such a thing existed, so I didn't miss it in the least.Now that I have found myLot I'm enjoying the Hell right out of it.There is very little more I can say about it.I never needed to express my feelings, but now that I can, I'm expressing all over the place. Thanks for your patience!

before mylot i did a lot online, but i still do all of that too. i use a lot of sites daily. myspace [of course], xanga, livejournal, perezhilton, youtube, checking email, doing paid surveys, talking on aim, etc. i do spend most of my time on here now, but when i run out of discussions i'm interested in posting in i go around and check my email or my myspace.

I have always liked meeting new people so before joining mylot I used to spend quite a bit of time on yahoo answers and some other networking sites. And as far myspace is concerned, I agree with you on that, I also found it boring.

I use Myspace mainly for keeping in touch purposes. Livejournal is where I express myself and keep in touch with some people. I like livejournal because there are so many people and things there to get involved in, it's easy to find the right outlet to express what is going on and talk to someone that is like minded. Mylot is a place for me to kind of talk with other people and express my opinions on subjects. I use livejournal to express my emotions and what's going on in my life.

Before mylot I was a member of a parenting forum. It wasn't a paid one although I spent a lot of time there. I never felt like "part of the group" though like I feel here evn though I was thee from June 2006 until February 2007 when I came here. I did go back once after that to give everyone in my October/November 2006 Babies group an update but they all ignored me and left my post unanswered...even though I commented on their recent updates and achievments.

I still use MySpace because a lot of my friends and family are there. I also have a blog site on Blogger.
Sometimes I just post my blogger link onto my MySpace blog. I don't want to re-type everything.
My husband blogs through Vox because he uses his Sidekick 3 to do it. He says it is the easiest site to use for mobile blogging that he has found so far.

I used yahoo answers but their website has strict rules and easily kick you out for doing anything against the rules.
