Do you miss Preston Burke?

Remember the last episode of the 3rd season when he practiced his wows in front of Alison and a bunch of the nurses and when he finished she said: Dump her and marry me. I think that sentence really describes him in the best possible way. Do you agree?

yeah, i do miss him. his vows in the episode brought me to tears! they made me want someone to say those things to me! although, after what he said off the show about t.r., i'm glad that he's off the show. what he said was horrible.

Preston Burke is one of the characters that I really like in greys anatomy. He’s one of the characters that made greys anatomy worth t to be watch although it s also for the good to not to have her in the show because of what he said on T.R Knight.

Yes I miss Preston. I think he left because of a racial comment made by someone else. The other person should have left. I don't like the female they replaced him with as the new heart surgeon.

you're right lorelai. isaiah washington played preston burke. he called t.r. knight who plays george o'malley a fxggot. the negatory use of that word caused an uproar and the grey's people decided to get rid of him because of it.

Yeah, I miss Burke too. He was a good actor. I didn't like how because his marriage thing didn't work out he just left - typical though, if you think about it. Run away, everyone thinks that running away fixes everything. I don't like the new girl too much either, she's too much of a *****, especially against Christina, which I think is wrong. Especially how because the new girl stated she's so mean to her because of her relationships with her "bosses". I think it's wrong. I think he should come back and say how he made a mistake... :)

I hate that everybody, not only in this show but even in the real life, run away from the problems instead of solving them. I wish he'd came back too. I don't know who is the new girl because here in Italy they showed the last episode of the 3rd season yesterday.

I definitely miss him. The thing I liked about Burke was that s-e-x was not the number one thing in his life. It seems that everyone in that hospital is more concerned with meeting in the on-call room than actually saving lives.
There was more to him than just Christina. She didn't define him. He loved jazz and loved to cook. He was a neat-freak and played instruments. He was a sensitive man just looking for someone to share his same passions.
What kind of stuff do you know about Derek? His wife cheated on him and he lives in a trailer. He has been defined by Meredith in this show. That's why I invite this new woman into his life because then at least we can learn a little about the character he is.
I miss Burke's character, but he shouldn't have done what he did. Isaiah Washington is paying the price and it's his fault he isn't on the show.
