Are you decorating for Christmas

Like you I also put mine up this week. My tradition is always the weekend of Thanksgiving but I was a little slow this year. I will try to take it down the weekend of New Years. We also haven't had time to do the lights outside this year, but maybe next year ( which is what we said last year). LOL. I hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas.

I have my Christmas tree up we put it up the day after Thanksgiving. My son put the outdoor stuff up one day while the weather was nice. I have my Christmas table cloth out and I have all out Christmas figureines sitting around.

This will by mine and my husbands first year in our new home and on our own without any other roomates. We are really excited about Christmas and already have a few lawn decorations, but are going out next week to get our tree and some lights for the front of our house. I can't wait to see what it looks like and our kids are so excited. I think this will be one of our most memorable Christmas's yet.

I enjoy to put decorations so much I just love it. But i am nto sure if we will have lights outside either. we don't have electrocity plug outside and it seems liek big problem for my fiancee, so I guess no Christmas lights:( But other things I have alredy done, still want to do some decorations on the windows and just to put a christmas three, but it has still a time, since it is warm here in apartman.

i love to decorate christimas tree with colourful sparkling papers and ballons and also green grass around...i cant descirbe more...but has a lovely look..

hehe we "had" all our decorations up already as soon as "BER" came.. So yeah September! ahehehe...Im not really that excited am I?ahahah...

Oh my decorations. I have been putting them up slowy I had a great start then life happened. I decorate my dinning room with my tree and my living room with garland and small things. the outside of my house does not get much attention just a couple lights here and there. i am sooo glad christmas is here.

We decorate for Xmas.Some years ago we still decorated a green tree, now we have a artificial one.And of course, the feeling is not the same... We decorate the windows, the doors, the lamps and the table too.

My fiance and I are working on getting our decorations up. He only just moved in to his apartment last October, so we don't really have any Christmas decorations, so we're having to buy a rudimentary set-up for cheap and it's a little difficult. So far, we have a bit of garland over our fireplace and some over the blinds leading to our patio/balcony. The one over the fireplace is a gorgeous and full string of faux poinsettias and we hung a "stocking" over it and some tinsel garland over the blinds. The next project will be to put lights out on the balcony. Hopefully by then we'll have found a tree and we can do that next.

We do the basic tree along with stockings hung with care on the mantel. Don't know what else we'll do this year. Never know till we get the tree out.

I started last weekend but didn't get too far. I'm gonna go out this weekend and start looking for a few other things and get the decorating done this weekend except for my tree. I won't get my tree for another 2 weeks probably because I get down with the real trees and it's just too soon to get one I think.

Hi,we are doing this tomorrow(saturday),my daughter cannot wait!I go all out especially the last 2 years due to my daughters love for this time of year plus i love it,hahaha.I plan on doing the outside lawn decorations tommorrow and then the inside sunday.Christmas goes by too fast and i like to have a couple of weeks of it. this is my first year with my boyfriend and we bought a tree and have it up. it's white and has clear lights then we bought blue lights for it and two strands of blue and silver beads to string around it.

oh yeah!!! for sure!!! I love this part of christmas!! decorating all the house..the christmas tree and all this stuff.....I bought an christmas tree that is pretty cool and a lot of little beautiful stuff to decorate it....and it's actually nice....and I also put all the presents of the family under the tree and at the time os opening the presents.....everyone has to search for yours...it's really nice....I love christmas!

My house is well lit as you can tell from the attatched photo. The lights go from my garage to the right front of the house on the eave. Then my front yard is lined with all green lights along the driveway, then the front and side of the yard to the fence in back. Now I have a small tree on my coffee table but have yet to set up the big one. I use an artificial tree due to dad being here. I love real trees but can't take that risk. I just put up a small tree in the living room on the table. We aren't going to be here for the holidays as we are going back home to visit my parents and my husband is in Iraq. My daughter and I just aren't in a celebratory mood this year since he is over there and can't be home for the holidays. So we just put up our little tree and that's it.

It's always been our tradition to put up our decorations Thanksgiving night but this year because so much is going on in my family my granddaughter and I put up my tree...lol...about 2 weeks ago! I'm sick of it already of course but she's been loving it.

Yes my son and I are decorating for christmas. Today is the first of December so we'll put up the chritmas treet and put a few decorations around. Each year I try to buy a few new decorations for our tree. It works out cheaper and you are not just buying willie nilly. I put a bit of thought into my decorations. The latest one we got has my son's name on it.
