Do you wake up in the night hungry

well good morning my friend,i have been up since 330am,how are you feeling?i hate not being able to sleep lately but atleast i get some stuff done while everyone is sleeping lol.well right now i am drinking my pepsi and i just had some resses.yes sometimes i do wake up hungry so i just grab some chocolate yummy.pattie

Hey there cybersister. I'm up. Well I haven't even been to bed yet. I'm watching some TV before I turn in and I always like some to eat..so just finished a pancake..with lots of maple syrup...mmm..want your opinion, I know your trying to break the whipped cream addiction, but do pancakes taste good with pancakes? I have to do my grocery shopping tomorrow and might stock up on whipped cream...hehe

hmmm happens often with me as at nights i usually have very light dinner.and nice to know that its early morning there.here in India its 3.00 pm and i already am digesting my lunch!!

Hi Terry! I think I have done this a time or two, just recently too with the Red Velvet cake I made. LOL I just get up and have a nibble or two. :D What kind of cookies did you have? I've got to go to the store too. I think it's going to be fried chicken tonight. Wings. My favorite! Bay xx

Oh yes, that happens to me quite often. I will wake up in the middle of the night starving. I will usually just have a glass of milk and sometimes I log into mylot and do some posting. But I usually only last about half an hour, if I'm lucky, and then I get so sleepy I have to go back to bed. Sometimes I will just lay in bed with my table lamp on and read till I fall back to sleep. Then I wake up and the book is on the floor or on me, and the lamp is still on.

Yes, I do get up hungry in the middle of the night. I've started just getting something to drink instead. If I drink a lot of water or some tea, the hunger slightly abates until morning. Snacking in the middle of the night used to be a big problem for me because I was always up. Now I just get up again for drinking too much water!

No, not really. Because I have quite a fixed pattern to my life. I have timings for most things and I either make sure I am satisfactory-not-hungry before I sleep, or I will sleep with the determination that I will sleep throughout with the hunger or not. So even if I am hungry, I will just sleep myself to fullness.:P

my father had this problem and i used to do this too...but since i took Ambiem Cr the sleep med i don't wake up in the middle of the night hungry...i take this sleep med for other reasons...this is not for everyone..but it could be a symptom of hyperglycemia or another form of blood disorder...insulin resistant? have your blood work checked by a doctor..and also watch what you eat before bed time...it sounds like you have some kind of blood disorder ..either too much insulin ornot enough...but have a blood work and relay your conderns toa doctor

Hi TerryZ! Oh i usually am hungry whenever i wake up in the middle of the night. My husband usually tells me not to eat so much whenever i do and just drink a glass of milk because it's not healthy to have a full stomach when you are sleeping. Take care and have a nice day. :)

Hi:) If i do not eat a small toast before going to bed i will definitly be up in the middle of the night.Fore some reason i need to eat something before bed for me to last the whole night long sleeping,haha.Sometimes i even get on here after and stay up the rest of the early morning,hehe. I haven't woken up because I am hungry. But if something else wakes me up I am almost ALWAYS hungry. I usually go into the kitchen and take a few bites of something before I go back to bed. I won't be able to go back to sleep if I am starving. My problem is that I stay up too late and become hungry in the middle of the night when I am playing on the computer. Then I usually eat a whole lot more than a few bites of something!

yes, this happens to me quite often because my boyfriend and i have an odd sleep schedule and i usually get up around 4am too. after being up for just a short period my stomach starts going crazy - i get so hungry! i hate it though because i don't want to eat until 7/8am or else i'll be hungry again by like 10am! haha.

Hello dear TerryZ. I am glad that I have never woken up hungry that early as you do, otherwise the nice sleep would be ruined by the hunger in the early morning. Hi Terry, haha. I was just talking about this on another discussion a few days ago...and yessireee, I do wake up hungry sometimes. In fact, the other morning at 4:00 I woke up and was craving potato chips. I laid there trying so hard to go back to sleep, haha, telling myself, now Bobbie, you have to get up for work in a little while....you can't do this, haha. It didn't work. By 4:30 I was up eating a huge bowl of potato chips with of course, some hot chocolate, lol! And oohhhh, they were so good.

I rarely wake up at night, only when am pressed to go to the loo. If i get hungry I drink water and go back to bed

i think it has something to say about your health :-) please try to check :-) but if you wake up hungry, i suggest you simply drink water, it doesn't get in the way of digestion as you sleep :-)

lately yes that has been happening to me a lot and you cant sleep till you make that growling go away uless you fil it up so it will shut up. i have a question 4 u how much do you get paid for each one of your responses you make because i currently only make a penny per response so how much do you earn because i am curious.

It is a really interesting thing and it happened to me very often .I used to eat whatever I get if I wake up in the middle of night.I don't know about this problem.I feel thatit happens physilogical but nothing to do with pathological problem or something that dealing with our mind
