How can you know you have falled in love with somebody?

Actually I don't really have an answer to your question because I haven't been in love so I don't know exactly how it feels to be in love, but you have started a very good discussion and I'll give you credit for that. I think it can be very difficult to know whether you are in love or are you just infatuated with someone. Some people think that they are in love when they are only infatuated with the person, then they get married and when they get to see that person from close quarters, they get to know that they never really in love and get divorced. This I feel is the prime reason behind most divorces. On the other hand, there are people who think they only like someone because he/she is a good person and a few years later they discover that they were actually in love with that person but then its too late. So to me it seems like a very difficult proposition to guage the difference between true love and infatuation and pure friendship. I found this quote somewhere on the internet but I don't know how much of it is true and how much not: "If you have to think about whether you love someone or not then the answer is no. When you love someone you just know." I think only a person who is actually in love can answer this question so I'll keep track of this topic to see what sort of responses you get.

I know i've fallen in love towards somebody when i start to become conscious of how i dress and look whenever he's near me. He's would always be in my mind and i would want to see him all the time. but everytime he's with me i can't bring myself to look at him straight in the eye. I really hate myself when i feel like this because it makes me feel uneasy and vulnerable. I've felt this for the first time with my male best friend who's been very kind to me. Too bad he had a girlfriend then and considers me only as his little sister. I really had to hide what i'm feeling just not to ruin our friendship. Being in love with him taught me about making sacrifices and being hurt in the process but for the person you truly love it's all worth it as long as you see him happy.

well i think when one falls in love,life suddendly seems to be more beutiful and everything around you seems to be more beautiful than previously.you start enjoying whatever you do.you like to talk to the lady more and more and time passes by like anything.also you want to be with your loved ones always.well i think if your partner does not know about your love then please do confess her till it gets late.i dont know why people fear or do not have the courage to speak their heart to their loved ones.be bold and say so that you can plean your life with your partner forever,otherwise might be she finds another.then one only can repent.

there's no actually specific signs of falling in love....but one thing is for sure there i "MAGIC"...he/she makes your whole being, a slight simple gersture means the world to you,and definitely he/she makes you happy....i once had an acquiantance and when we got the chance to spend sometime together....i find myself wanting to see more of him each day....i miss him the whole time, and when i dont hear from him my world is black n white...and only changes when i'd see him again:) i hate the feeling but how can i describe it....hehehe! Show him/her that you care, make your presence visible, maybe not always physically present but simple things like telling her you're just simply there...there are lots of things you can do...note, text messages, email n all sorts:) good lick

You feel it your self. You cant do any thing, can not concentrate on any thing. And you will day dream a lot. But these may differ from person to person. Give her/ him some signals, for it to become obvious you like her/him.
