Help: I need some wedding gown tips

I am getting married in a few months and I would like you to help me a bit with choosing a wedding gown. At the moment I feel really bad since..I don't like anything! I keep looking at gowns in magazines and stores, and I just can't find THE ONE! Am I weird or is it just stress before marriage? I really don't like stereotypes and usual dresses and everything just looks banal! How in earth am I going to choose one!?

I'm having the same problem. I'm getting married in May of '08 and I've been looking for a dress since May of '06 and I have NO IDEA what I'm going to get! What kind of dress are you looking for? Maybe we can help each other ^_^

The problem is that I cannot narrow my options..I don't know anything about gowns so, I prefer flip over thousands of magazine pages and see various kinds of gowns, hoping to find something that I really like!

Well, I would first write down all that you are looking for in your gown. What style, long sleeved, short sleeved, no sleeved, halter, sleeveless, empire waist, a-line, color, and so on. If you want intricate beading or something simple. Its a difficult decision for sure and you want the perfect gown of course! But it would help if you could go into a store having an idea of what looks good on you and what you are looking for so that you can narrow down your selections and not waste time on the others. Well you really should just jot down and note what you would like in the dress. What you would prefer to wear is important. It could be long sleeve, shorter, sleeveless, longer flowing, shorter flow, long gloves, short gloves, differing necklines/shoulderlines and much more.
