Pilates and/or Yoga?

I really like yoga. I took lessons for about 2 years and practiced almost daily. Now I rarely get out my yoga mat. I really need to start up again soon. It was great for me. Not only the exercise but the breathing and relaxation that you can achieve.

I've been doing Pilates for a year now. I have been pretty good with it. I never had a big problem with weight. I always get those "You look good for having 2 kids" comments. I can't say if its thanks to Pilates or not.

What got your started doing pilates? My first DVDs I bought were of Winsor Pilates and I love it. But now I workout with Denise Austin every morning on Lifetime.

i never do pilates before. i have tried yoga at bally total fitness. well, i like yoga because it stretch out my body muscle and i feel relaxing after that.

I have always wanted to try out Yoga but i haven't gotten to do it yet. They say it gives you balance in your life and i need that right now. I might go to the library to see if they have any thing about it or any tapes.

I do pilates. Have you been successful with it? Any advice on beginners yoga? Do you diet with it as well?

I do pilates. I LOVE it! I don't diet. I eat pretty much what I want but I don't pig out and I eat as healthy as possible. It works - you just have to stick to it. If you don't have a pilates CD that's got some aerobic work outs with it, you need to walk or ride a bike, too.
