TV or internet

i definitely use the internet more now a days. my boyfriend and i recently moved to our own place and don't have the money to have any tv service, besides the only show i really, really like to watch is grey's anatomy and abc puts them on their site, so we go without tv. i'm online everyday though.

In the last few years, I hardly even bother watching TV. The internet is so much more interesting and it's interactive. You can choose your own entertainment instead of a few set shows. Also, if you want to watch a show you can usually download it and it's often one not even on your local TV. You can watch it at any time you want too.

For me ,I use Internet most on weekdays and occasionally on Saturday and on Sunday It is mostly TV . Sometimes,I do not have time to use any of these !

Watching television does not make me any money, but surfing the Net does. That's why I'm here right now on MyLot. I'm here to make money. You can't do that with the TV. I guess that is why they nicknamed that thing the "Idiot Box". But many people who have not yet familiarized themselves with either the Net or even computers obviously prefer to watch television over much else. Doing both excessively, however, will get you fat and unhealthy. But at least with the Net you can stuff your pockets with money while you're at it.

Definitely internet, TV programs in country just too boring for me. It's only about celebrities, I actually love watching stories about celebrity but not that much or series movie that don't have quality, they have it in any programs. Believe or not TV's channel in my country only have that 2 programs, nothing else.

I use the Net more than the TV. The net has more uses. You pay your bills, make money, have fun, entertain yourself with audio & video, connect with family out of state, and correspond. * I'm a shut in, so I do a lot of my shopping online. I can get to a grocery store twice a month by cab. If something I need isn't there, I let my fingers take me to it via the net.

Nowadays there are so many things that you can do on the Internet. You'll never get bored. Heck, you can even make money. I rarely watch TV now.

I use the internet more. I also watch some of my shows online as I don't always get to catch all of them on TV. And I don't like the commercials too. And of course, aside from watching shows online, I can do a whole lot of other things. Sometimes I even chat while watching my shows. Or respond on myLot while playing online poker, like what I'm doing now. The internet is really great. :)

There isn't much on tv these days to bother watching. Writers strike won't bother me! But I do like the food channel and HGTV and TVland. Other than that and a few soaps in the daytime, I don't watch TV. I can get the same news on line and read only what i want instead of having to listen through all the malarky like sports or celebrity crapola, and other things that have no interest to me. Often, they are talking about something I am interested in and then just stop and I'm going -"okay, and...." looking for more on the topic. ONline I can find more on the topic if I want it. I like the weather better on TV - its on about 20 after the hour so I tune in for that. Otherwise, online

back in my home country, i would prefer to watch tv than use the internet...i mean, before, i get sick of facing the computer since in my workplace i face the computer for more than 8 hours just analyzing number and stuff... but now that i am in my home country, i prefer the internet...i don't know the shows here and it is through the internet that i can get to watch the tv shows that i always like...and besides, throught the internet i can earn and learn a lot...so now, i changed my view points...

for me I prepare the internet,'cos you can watch your favorite show in internet too... :-)

Most probably i would prefer internet.i am fed with tv,i think tv is not useful for students.internet is the best,it gives much knowledge compared to tv..

I go for Internet actually, because TV i just open and hear only the sound without watching than internet i need to concentrate. specially when i post discussion or reply discussion lol.

I use the internet the most. But I always have the tv on. I also mulitask. And Im very good at it.LOL But yes Im addicted to the internet.

I probably use the internet a little bit more. I take some classes online and so I have to use it for that. I also watch tv shows I might have missed (like Friday Night Lights).

I prefer using the Internet too. This is because I can participate and be part of a program. I watch TV too, when it is on a show I'm interested in and for diversity.

How do you watch tv online? When I have tried to view something it is just clips not the whole show.
