My teacher told us that speaking is more easy than writing...but for me, I rather write than speak.... you? And why?

What your teacher probably meant is that people speak differently than they write. For me, since I spent six and half years of childhood on my own, I was always in my own head. So, writting is better for me than speaking.
Especially since I can mix up words. Especially when I am stressed out. I remember one times when I worked at a bank, this lady had some questions for me and I didn't have anything for her. So I told her.
"Let me ask my manager, I'll have some questions to answers..."
I am not kidding, I misplaced the words. She gave me this odd look and I corrected myself. But, I thought it was amusing.

My teacher also told us that speaking is much easier than writing. But for me, writing is much easier than speaking. Writing helps me to develop my words into sentences, which in turn will become a paragraph, then a story. I used to write before. Writing also helps me to understand the meanings of the word. And when I understand them better through writing, then I will be able to speak them better. I do not like to speak nonsense. I like to talk/speak that has meanings.

i prefer writing because i could express more in writing rather than in speaking. although it requires more effort but it gives me time to think and to edit..

well it really depends upon individuals.for some speaking is easier and for some writing is easier.peole who love to talk a lt can best express their views by talking, however people who dont like to talk a lot or who are hesitant in talking find better words to write and express thier views since in that case they are able to think before they wirte.actually i think writing as well speaking is an art which cannot be done by all.you really need to be sponataneous to speak and you need to think as well before speaking since wrong words can just crete a bad impression.i am good at speaking.

Yeah i think speaking is easier. If i try to compare the two things what comes in my mind is typing huge SMS and send to a friend when i could say the same things withing 5 seconds by a phone call :) And i think typing is as slow as writing, or approximately.
Now there are conditions when it might be easier to write, like when you want to approach someone who interests you but you are shy.

Speaking is easy for me. In speaking, you just use your mouth and mind to talk and let out those words, but when you write, you use your mind, your hands, reflexes, and eyes... I think there are lots of effort in writing! Plus, you also have to have good ideas to make your write-ups more appealing to read. :D

It depends on two category of people: introvert and extrovert. Some people who have developed good vacabulory keep talking throughout the day and some people who have inhibitions, do not speak. Those who love good handwriting keep writing and those who scribble would not like to write unless it is compulsory (like school or college report). Now technology is so sophisticated people hardly write, like introduction of calculators made people to forget mental mathematics.
