Is it difficult to find a job in Miami?

I have a friend who lives in Miami. He is in big headache recently cos' he cannot find a job after coming back from Morocco his homeland. He worked as a room server in Mariat Hotel and the boss gave hime the promotion to be a manager assistant before he left. He talked with the boss and the boss agreed to keep the position for him until he get back from his homeland. Now he's back, but the boss tell him if he wanna work there again he will take time and seek a suitable positon. Spending all his money at home with an empty poket back in Miami, my friend is urge to find a job immediately. But it's been almost a month that he cannot find a stable one. Any advices or good chances can offer, my friends?
