How many friends do you have in myLot?

Right now I have 61 friends. The reason I know this is because I just approved 2 more friends. I have to find the time to go through tem all and delete some of them. I don't want too many friends because I respond to almost all of their discussions, as a friend should do. So I am getting too many emails and I am having a hard time keeping up. How I am going to decide whether to delete or keep as a friend is by going into their profiles and checking how many of their old discussions, before we became frineds, I can respond to. If I can't respond to at least 10 old discussions I will delete them. I want to try to keep my list down to having just the ones that I have something in common with and/or write interesting discussions.

Hi Chrislotz.. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I won't be one of those friends that you are about to delete. Sometimes I do get too buzy and find less time in participating in mylot.But i am catching up if time permits me.

i have lots of people who consider themselves to be my friend on mylot. since i don't have a clue who they are i can't call them my friends. i think i have about fifty friends here.

I don't know how many friends I have. I never count my friends.
I am here for one year, friends are coming and going but many stay.
I have few good friends here for sure.

Why don't you keep adding some friends here then? Do you have time for it? What I do if I don't feel like posting is that I just browse through all the members and add them.

well its not to add numbers in ur friends list but u need to communicate with them before adding them and then add them. the bottom line is to have few but good friends which are active and communicate with you.
there is no use if u have 200 friends in ur list but none of them talking, i hope u got what i mean

Yes I understand what you mean..but sometimes adding more friends and getting to know them after would help too.From there one can start to work things out, break the ice and get to know each other more...maybe by just reading the discussion your friend have posted.

About 100 but there are some that aren't active. I'd say its a decent dozen or so that are active and interacting with me. Its great. Then there are some friends who are really more readers than interacters (I'm betting a few of them keep tabs on my profile). Great there too. Plus I have some people not on the friends list, they like me too.

for everyone. maybe it's going to be easy.
But for me, might quite take some time ..as I need time to be with my mom ...so have to be stuck in Asia for awhile.

I just do what I can to support and help them. Typically I answer their threads and pick at what is on their minds. Or I encourage when I get the chance.

they are just reading your topic. It may help if you can add more active friends like seeing their posting stats. if an individual has more than 500 posts , then most probably 80% he will respond:)

I have more than 150 friend , but i have only maybe just 15 or 25 active friend, most of them just to wait if you reply there discussion but not yours, most of them just ignore us, but it not bothered to me at all.

I have 366 friends, because I don't like to decline anyone so I accept anyone who asks and then I delete them if they "spam" me. I have made some really good friends on here and hope they stick around for a very long time. Take care and I hope to see you around.

I currently have over 580 friends. I know some of them aren't active on mylot anymore, but I just don't have the heart to delete them.

You are the great one Sacmom. Plus its good to keep some friends on since they might not have quit, they just aren't as active. Then there are some that do nothing but read your discussions and responses. Its interesting.

I don't delete friends too. Whether active or not, I;d still keep them. Maybe they are just reading your post and who knows
if they really learn from it or not. ..most important thing is that they around .

Welcome to mylot MagieL. What I did to have more friends was that everytime they responded to my discussion, I add them immediately. Or if I am not in the mood in posting I just browse and browse through all the topics and add some of them. Some if I like the avatar and the way they put up a topic..and those with the same interests as mine too,.

I have four pages of friends. I have no idea how many that is. I generally only talk to about 10 of these friends. I don't actually even know most of them are friends.

Wow - I had to 'research' to find out just how many friends I do have here 250... Ok I know many are not active and must admit a few have actually quit but I feel pretty good that 20 or so friends are great friends that I would love to someday meet.
