I am a man and i love cooking! Its nice thing to do when you got free time, a creative little hobby of mine. I like frying things, or grilling meat, and in general i take care of cooking even when my parents are home. My dad also cooks, so my mother's cooking hasnt been in our home for months :) Why do you think most men dont cook? Do you like foods cooked by man? Do you think thats its all a matter of love on what you do, or do you insist that women can cook better due to genes or something? :)If you are woman, would you like to have a husband who can cook? I am curious concerning this issue, because when i mention i like cooking, a 80% of people are surprised. Why? Is it just a woman's issue after all?

I wish my husband could cook too. The only cooking he can do is putting stuff in to microwave and wait in front of it 4 minutes :) So I can't say he is a good cook. And I always found men attractive who are in the kitchen :) Since my husband learned it he stay more in the kitchen but still microwaving :)

Well men who cooks isn't suprising. Chef's in famous hotels and restaurants are men. So it isn't new. Though at home it is usually women who cooks but in the field of hotel and restaurants mostly I see men. Theres a tv program I've seen before I ccan't understand the language though (I think is Japanese or chinese) Chefs are into a competition. Provides with ingredients they are too make the most tasty food out of the ingredients given to them. Within 1hour they are to make 3 dishes.
I'd like to have a husband who cook. It's nice to have guy who will cook for you. In our house my dad cooks better than my mom.

I guess, initially, it is stereotypical when people get surprised. But, come to think of it, there are plenty of men (chefs) that are also well known. Actually, my husband loves cooking. It is his passion, though he only gets to cook once in a while because he is busy with work (construction). But his dream is to put up his own restaurant and he'll be the one to cook. He'd like to study for culinary arts but it's really expensive, maybe at some time he can. I don't know how to cook when I first met my husband. And I am only recently trying to cook from scratch. I think you should pursue your passion in cooking. You would eventually find out you are not the only man interested in cooking. My husband always says that men are greater cook than women. Well, I wouldn't want to agree, but that just shows his confidence on men who cook.

I enjoy it when my husband cooks. The kitchen is my domain and I keep it a certain way(clean, neat, organized, everything has it's place)this may be for many women but when my decides he would like to make supper I love it. He's excellent on the BBQ and can make the perfect Fried Pork chops ever tasted. I only thing I don't like when he cooks is that he never puts the stuff back in the proper place in the kitchen and I got to go digging around for what I need, and I usually poke Fun at him for it.
