wow ... wise kid! ... i agree completely with what she sayd but take out a little bit of innocence and you got the answer ... it is as she sayd but a puppy is always loyal and so is the master ... true love can only be when it comes from both sides so that it is complete ... i disagree with the fact that love is being mushy and always being together becouse that flyes by really fast ... love cannot be expressed in words because talking is the easyest thing a human can do besides breathing ... in short ... love is the inner feeling that bonds a person to the other and makes them become one ...

Hi padu19, It is always difficult to define love it has many means and is different in different situation. To me love is an intense feeling of affection, an emotional state. There is only one happiness in life : to love and to be loved. Love is essentialy an abstract concept, much easier to exoerience than to explian.

Love is what you value very much.Love is what you cannot forget,and love is wherever you dare to go.sometimes,I think i cannot explain love,but when my parents convey warmness to me,I just feel my eyes are full of warm tears.And when my gf tell me not to miss her all day long,I feel she is loving me.and when someone helps me but doesnot tell me his or her name,I feel the love of the world.and so on.

I think it would be difficult for most people to define love because I feel that very few people are actually lucky enough to experience TRUE love and even fewer get to live their life with their loved-one. When most people think that they are in love, they are only infatuated with the person and that's the reason why we see so many people getting married and getting divorced shortly afterwards. While some couples may still choose to remain with each other, not out of love but because some other material benefit that they may have to give up if they separated. I have never been in love but from whatever I have been able to gather, I feel that TRUE love would be the perfect mixture of friendship and physical attraction. In some cases even the physical attraction may not be there which I feel would be the most superier form of love. I mean think about it rationally, who is your BEST friend? Why do you like being with him/her? May be he/she has a really good personality that you like. May be he/she is the only person in the world that really understands you. So if you were also attracted to this best friend of your's then wouldn't he/she be the best person to get spend rest of your life with? I mean, you find him/her attractive, you like his/her personality and he/she is the one who is able to understand you properly. Isn't all of this every man and woman in this world looks for in their ideal partner/lover/spouse? You make your own decision.

love is a verb. it should be acted upon. its annoying how people exhaust the word 'i love you' by saying it without really meaning it. me for instance find it hard to say that word unless i really care. and from my experience ive always been told that i am loved yet i ended up betrayed. i sound kinda bitter uh??? i was. but that definition by a 4 year old and the others here really got me. they made the word love sound so simple, innocent and sincere that it brought me to tears.

Wow, define love? Really good topic. There are so many different answers, but for me love is not being able to live without that special someone you have. When you think about them constantly throughout the day and just want to make sure they are doing okay. Love is a look you give to that someone or the look that they give you back. Love is enduring the bad times and still being able to hold one another to reassure them it's going to be okay. Love is knowing, so deep down within your heart, that that someone is the one that is always going to be there for you and you for them. It's a feeling that is so unexplainable sometimes and your heart aches when they are away from you. Love is letting go of yourself and giving your all to that someone. Love, also for me, is waiting patiently and being loyal to someone that is thousands of miles away for ungodly amounts of time and crying with joy over the letters he sends. Love is never having your mind wonder away from that special someone...never once letting yourself think of someone else. Love is pain, happiness, joy, hurt and peace all roled into one. To truly love is to give your whole self to that someone you want to spend the rest of your life with and seeing yourself with that person when you are 90 years old sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch. Love is dreaming of all the things you and that someone will do together for the rest of your lives. Love is watching your soldier get on a plane and aching for him to be back in your arms already. Love has so many different meanings and so many different values. What I've written may not be understood by some, but it's the best way I know to explain how I feel about the man I love and what I have written doesn't even cover half of what I feel about loving this man. My definition of LOVE is YOU. We always try to think of how we feel when we talk about LOVE, but it is also the factor of how you make others feel LOVE. It is through your being that you can define how you care for others. I believe that the true meaning of love is how it is reciprocated by others you deal with based from your WORDS, THOUGHTS, and ACTIONS. It's YOU who makes the significance of the word by how they receive and accept the message of your emotion. So when YOU say LOVE, and WHEN YOU LOVE, it is representing YOU of how you make others feel, that is why, when we love, it is usually about giving YOU/OUR BEST to others.

Love could defined in a million ways. Old folks say that love is blind. But for me it is not, it sees but just don't mind the flaws and imperfections of the partner. In Corinthians, it says that love is patient and kind. It is not jealous nor conceited nor proud. And I completely agree with that statement. Above all, for me, love makes the world go round. I define love as your baby grasping your fingers so tight and expecting you to never let go. The way they look into your eyes and with in that very moment it feels like all time has stopped at least for that slept second.

There are two kinds of love. True love and "love". True love is something not everyone will achieve in their life. True love is something you know is right and you're really meant for that person.
