I have been thinking about getting on ebay and selling something but am not sure what. So my questions are:
1. Do you use or have you bought something from ebay ?
2. Was there something that you were looking for and did not find there
3. What has your experience with ebay been good bad or ugly I want to know

I only sell unused items on Ebay like old cash register etc. Other things I find it better to sell off line. I also do garage sale on craigslist and tell people about them.
As a seller my experience there is a good one, but I didn't sell many. As a buyer I'd say average, sometimes I'm lucky the seller is honest, sometimes not. I think the longer you sell and buy there, the more you know about everyone else.

I have been both a buyer and seller on eBay for a number of years and have to say that in the main I have had no problems at all. I have, however, had the occasional non-paying bidder and a couple of items not received but those are quite rare. eBay is a good way to clear the clutter and make a little money, it's easy to do and enjoyable as well.

i have bought and sold many things on ebay and if i could do that all day i would. the people that i have dealt with were really nice and courteous and they didnt try to rip me off or make me buy something that i didnt want. and the prices for some of the items are well worth bidding for.

I have bought and sold things via eBay before.
eBay may be an auction central of many things but not all things can be found there. But there are indeed many things there.
Personally, I don't like eBay because it is really a collection of individual sellers. You just don't know whether you can trust if the goods sold are genuine or new.

i really do not like e-bay at all.their fees are high and service is lousy.if you can find an alternative site rather than e-bay you will benifit more.in australia we have oztion and their fees are minimal and you can relist for just about free.you have to be careful with fraudulent items on e-bay as well.i do not know where you live ,but shop around.my expierience with e-bay is that by the time you sell your item and you take away their fees ,you are left with not much in your pocket

I've sold stuff on there, but it's really hit and miss when it comes to getting a fair price.
As a buyer on Ebay, if you have discipline, set a limit to what you will spend and don't need the item right now, you will find lots of bargains on Ebay.
I buy yarn, jewelry supplies, etc etc from Ebay and sometimes I'm the only bidder who placed a bid and I win an item for .99 or $9.99 when I should've paid at least up to 10X that amount.
Experience- as a seller, so-so, but as a buyer, it's been pretty well.

I buy almost everything on ebay. I look there first to see if I can get it cheaper than the store. I look to see how much shipping is and if it is worth it. I just found a site that pays you 36% cash back from every ebay purchase. This is amazing and anyone who shops on ebay needs to check it out. There is a link in my blog for Big Crumbs. Its free to join and you can even earn on referrals purchases. Ebay sponsors this because they want more business. If anyone is interested please sign up through my blog in my profile or add me as a friend for information.

Hi,there! I do use ebay to buy things and had some experiences.I haven't found the things that I wanna buy but are not available in ebay.Maybe that's because usually I buy things at store, but sometimes I choose to shop online:) I had some good experiences with ebay as well as bad experiences.I think if you wanna sell things there,it's very important that the things you sell are in good quality and the price are somehow good. Good luck and best wishes! Have a nice day:)

Several month ago,I had bought a pair of football shoes from ebuy. When I got the shoes,I find the size was larger than my wanted. If I want to get the right shoes,I had to reback the shoes, and got to another ones.It was so troublesome. So I gave it to my brother.I thought ebay is more cheaper, but sometime more troublesome.

I have bought a lot off ebay and I have sold a lot, it can be great when your selling but when you have things up and they don't sell it is depressing, if you start selling make sure you study what you are about to sell first, if you see similar up that are not selling don't put it up, I have found collectable type things are best types of things to sell, go into the buy part and put the word collectable in and have a look at what people are selling...good luck

I have used ebay for years! I mainly buy, but when I have things to thin out I sell as well.
I have had very good luck there... when I sell, I generally just start out at a dollar and whatever it goes for, it goes for... it's just to get rid of it without adding it to a landfill, and sometimes I get really surprised...
On some things ebay is not the least expensive place to buy, so it pays to shop around.. But overall I love ebay -- I'm anxiously awaiting 2 books to arrive that I purchased the other day, actually!
Peace, Lynda

I buy from and sell on Ebay all the time. It's a great way to make money. the only thing I don't like, is all the fees they charge. Paypal has it's own set of fees and so does Ebay. Other than that it's a pretty great site, if you're wanting to just sell something. DOn't expect to get what you paid for it though.
i say give it a shot and If you don't like it, just find soemthign else. Goodluck
