Hi, Does anyone know why I would have dropped two points from my number thingy in the brackets next to my login name? Yesterday I went to bed it was at (30) tonight when I logged in it was at (28)!!

I think it is because you may have either responded to a discussion or two that got deleted for some reason or because one or two or your discussions were deleted or both. I am guessing here, but I think I remember reading something about that in the FAQ's or discussion guidelines or some where on this site when I first signed up. It said something about the number could go down if a discussion you participate in gets deleted.

It appears you are right betsy. I'll have to be more careful in future about where I leave my comments. Thanks for your answer to my question.

Hello stjmen this happens to us all, if you start a discussion or reply in a discussion that get dleted because it was going against guidelines everyone loses the point concerned, so that is why it is good to know the things not to reply to...

Well that makes sense. I'll definately have to be more discerning of the discussions I get involved in. Thanks for you help

If you only reply with one sentence your post will not count. If you reply to a discussion that's against the rules will also put your post count at risk (samples: milestone threads, threads from cheating members).
