What Color is Your Mouse?

I did a search to see if this topic had already been raised numerous times, and nothing came up. Surely as soon as I submit it, then at the bottom there will be many similar discussions, as I simply cannot master the use of this myLot search.
However, I like my shiny chrome and candy apple red mouse so much especially on the bright yellow sunflower blossom mouse pad we were fortunate enough to find at BigLots for under $2. Sometimes the little eyes on my expensive state of the art cordless rechargeable optic mouse stare at me reproachfully because it so often sits neglected now since I favor the size and shape and weight and color of this $6 newbie. Well, I tell it "Lighten up and blush all you want, you'll still never be candy apple red!"
So what kind of mouse do you have and how do you deal with the color? My fancy one doesn't require a mouse pad on a regular desk but on my glass table, it needs a pad. I work in the semi-dark mostly, so without those LEDs on top I'd never find it. Does your mouse have fancy lights? What do you like about it and what, if anything, do you dislike?
Does it have a color coordinated mouse pad. Have you bought it any other mouse accessories? My mouse is pretty spoiled. Please tell me about yours!

My mouse is a logitech and is also red. My mouse pad is a Belkin wrist support which I got for 4.00 at the city because the store had a closing out sale.

I would love that purple light in the middle. My illuminated keyboard is a very pretty blue and your mouse would look nice with that. Needless to say, my candy apple red mouse has a red light, and my Logitech has green lights that match the ones on my VOIP box and also the surfboard cable modem. My other mice are rather pedestrian, as they have no lights.

My mouse is multi-coloured. The base and scrolly-thingy is black, the body is mostly a glittery dark blue, there's an oval at the top that's glittery and silver and the side buttons are gray. Oh, and it's a wireless! My brother got it for five bucks (rebate) but he had to call the company quite a few times for us to get the rebate back.
What I like about my mouse: It's wireless so I can use it anywhere in the room. I also like the weight of it, it's not too heavy and not too light. Plus the side buttons (back and forward) are useful so I don't have to use the browser buttons to change page. I can also use it with most surfaces.
What I dislike about my mouse: It requires batteries... it's kind of annoying when it just turns off when I'm in the middle of something important and it's kind of a hassle to change. Also, the connection to the receiver is kinda weird sometimes and I sometimes have to reset it.
I used to have a really cute mouse pad with flowers and drawings but since it's a wireless optical mouse, it doesn't really need a mouse pad.

Although my "best" wireless mouse has warning lights that let me know when the battery is low, sometimes I ignore them too long and think if it took regular batteries I could just pop them in and go. But now that I have the cute little red one which was really bought just as a substitute, I like it so much better than the other one doesn't run down anymore.
The glittery blue color sounds very kewl.

Ouch. Mine is in use here with my laptop at this moment. To make more room on the desktop, though, my laptop is elevated and set back so that I can operate a bit pad in front of it and store a few reference books I use daily on a shelf below it. Hence the need for a separate keyboard and mice.

i can imagine how bright and colorful your mouse and mouse pad are! i think they are beautiful and if they were mine i'd like them so much too. ^__^
my mouse is a boring white one and my mouse pad is as plain as blue. and i think the mouse pad came with the computer because it has its brand name on it. ^__^;; i haven't seen a mouse and a mouse pad that i really like. i've seen a mouse pad with my favorite anime character but that was a long time ago and i was never able to buy it. and now, it really doesn't cross my mind to buy a new one. although i'm planning to buy a new mouse because its rather a little bit rough on the inside. maybe because of dust. ^__^

The new smaller and lighter optical mice are just so much more comfortable that you will really be happy you did. Laugh already, but I bought a NeoPets mousepad once! It was so cute and so on sale. A store near us has lots of mouse pads they dump in the sale bin for a dollar or two from time to time and I get them to put under plants and other stuff as well for use at the computer. That one with the brand name has to go (unless you own stock in the company!)

Right now... i am so used to using a laptop that i forgot that it is so much better to use a mouse than the sensory pad on the laptop... but i remember... way back when i was still using the PC... most of the mouse i used were either black or gray... i never go around looking for the colorful ones since i prefer the more serious or professional look...in short the boring ones...
By the way... what is the plural form of a computer mouse? Is it grammatically correct to say mice or is is mouses?...

I think it is mice. Long ago I had a pretty nice sensory pad that was used for just about everything. It was corded, though, with a few progammable function keys. My Pavilion has a pretty silver grey oversized sensory pad, but if I use it a lot, it makes the skin on my pinky peel off.

Hehehe... I was just gonna say 'meeces' because I couldn't decide, but I ended up opting for 'mouses'. I'm glad you asked that question!

Yes, my grey and black one is kind of silvery too. It looks somewhat like a large beetle. The brand, GE, is not one I would normally choose for mice, but I am pleased with it so far, not as pleased as with the red one though, which says "Made in China" but has no brand name.

I loved my cordless rechargeable mouse for a while but then that bulky problem go increasingly more problematic...which is why I bought my first "travel" mouse and after using it a while, the other one is pretty neglected! This new generation of optical mice rules, and the new cords are so light and flexible that cordless isn't as big a deal as it used to be although I still use both. I love white mice!

we got a new cordless mouse now. its not so bulky like the older one but i find it dangerous to use cause sometimes when i get so much excited or pissed off i tend to drag my mouse in all direction. and its pretty safe when it has the cord with it. i already drop my cordless mouse for a couple of times! LOL!

When I bought my candy apple red one for the amazing price of $6 in the scratch and dent bin, there was next to it a gorgeous blue one and I thank you so much for mentioning blue, because I think today I will make a run to that store and see if it is still there now that I know what a good mouse that is!

Your mouse sounds WONDERFUL! If the lights on my Logitech would flash when the battery gets low, I might remember to recharge it more often. As it is, I keep a spare mouse handy just in case. Scrolling needs to be fast! Sounds like you have a great mouse.

The color of my mouse is a combination of silver and black. I like this color of my mouse because it is not prone to a dirt.

I assume that you are referring to the mouse that is attached to the computer not the ones that occasionally zip through the walls of the Apt. building. I don't know the colors of the ones in the walls, but the one attached to the computer is basic go with everthing black. It does have the word compaq daintily etched in silver on the upper left side as a nice little accent.
Are you sorry now that you have me listed as one of your "friends"?lol

i don't really have a mouse per se...using the touch pad on the lap top!
I don't see any harm in spoiling your new mouse...and hopefully the old and new won't rival too much!

The two mice seem to get along quite nicely, but I think sometimes they gang up together and try to trick me! But they are my little "babies" and I will keep spoiling them just the same. Thank you for sharing that you use your touch pad. Those are a very nice way to navigate too!

I have a bunch of working and junk mice out here. But what I'm using now is a black A4 Tech Optical mouse. I think this one is better than white ones because it's easier to clean.
