I talked with my husband tonight, again, about wanting to renew our vows since we had a court house wedding. Most of the time he would just be like, yeah we can but why do you want a wedding so bad. Tonight, however, he was all about it and we plan to do it for our anniversary when he gets home from this deployment. I have already found my dress that i want and everything now. LOL! For those of you that didn't know, my husband and I had been having a lot of problems, but while he was home on leave we sat down and had a long talk about things and the future and stuff like that and we seem to be doing awesome now. And for him to actually say, yes, i want a wedding just like you do is so astounding to me...kind of hard to believe, but he actually sounded excited about it to, so we'll see. just had to share my excitement with everyone here one mylot. going dress shoppping tomorrow. LOL!

hi, good for you! I dont know you, but you had responded to a discussion of mine, anyway i read your posts and wanted to say hang in there dear. 6 months in Irag and your hubby will be back, 6 months are not that long so keep that in mind, and i hope your health issues are working out (i had a painful procedure yesterday myself).
Tell you husband that the wedding you want is for both of you, but maybe its more important to you, so tell him that also. Every girl wants a wedding, its your day!

i know it...that is what i keep telling myself, that six months isn't that long. my health on the other hand is still not great...have to go in tomorrow to have another procedure done, but we'll see what happens with that. i'm sorrry you had to have a painful procedure. that is always very hard to endure, but i hope that you are doing well or are well on your way to recovery. My husband knows that it is for the both of us, because now he actually wants it to, but he also knows how important it is for me to have my dream wedding as well.
