radeon or geforce video card?

You should better try to pay attention to the characteristics.Your questions is very wide.Each brand has so many models and chipsets, that i can say from your question you are not very well informed.I would choose a Geforce, maybe one from the 7xxx series because they arent very expensive and there are still models in the AGP slot. Try to check the DDRam values, the cost and compare the models you find that have similar price between the two brands.But first of all, decide what you wish them for.If your system is older, a newer card wont help it perform well, not even in games.In computers its important to have parts of same age.Even if your CPU is the fastest around it wont perform well if you have less RAM installed, see? So you should better choose a card that is suitable for your system not much newer or older.

and I want to know what is your goal to buy the video card.play video game or design the animation?they are both excellent I think.if you want to design the animation.I suggest you to buy the special video card.

i'm working in a computer store before and i am once a technician and a warehouse in charge in that store and i learn about video cards. in your questions the best video card is geforce it is more reliable than radeon. geforce is always in demand of our customers.

Definitely go for GeForce.....they are better in terms of graphics performance
