What do I do in this dating?

Hi friends! Someone told me about the date she's having with a guy. (Permit me to use letter A as the present girl and B as the former). That he was dating B and broke up with her recent and expressed his feelings to A. B was living in peace with A, but started frowning cos of what the guy did (A and B were not friends, they only say "hi" to each other). The guy will spend about an hour when he meets B (sometimes) and she A is wondering what whe should do, cos she's having doubt on if the guy is still dating B or not. At times when A gives the guy message B gave her, the guy will ask A to forget about B. She needs more advice. Can you help here please? Thanks and have a great day.

He could still be seeing B but A has to be observant in all of this and A must make sure to keep at least a bit of doubt especially in a situation like this. A could also leave the guy if he keeps doing this and it makes A uncomfortable.
