Yep you read right this one is just going to be about silly. Well there is that and then you can still post about what your week or weekend will be like! Now without further delay...
LIVE!!! From the northern upper plateau of the souther lower basin, running tangent to the 5th part merdian and going backwards from the Earth's rotation, hovering 20,000 kilometers from beneath the planet its...!
Pro's Free For All Weekend!!!!!
****************************
Awww yea! With talent on loan from friends and family as a serious entry.
And then adding to that with talent on loan from remnant snow!
Welcome to the thread I do just about every weekend. You can come here to really unwind, post whats up or post something silly. You also risk my possible hijacking of your response and turning it to something way off topic!! The point, relax, share, laugh, have fun!
As always I'll post something on what's going on in the dry world of Pro-land. Well work projects shifted from editing and graphics, to helping out with the review of a 300 page document with the rest of the staff. Let me tell you... when you have a whole room spend about an hour on how one sentence sounds... your eyes and brain start to bleed. Plus, at this rate we might be done just in time for New Year 2029. Slight sarcasm and kidding there, but yes work goes on, life goes on.
Have fun everybody!

Better late than never!!! lol
Hello Gamer!
I think they would have had to wake me up once the debate was over, or I would have offered to go and get coffee for everyone! LOL A whole hour over one sentence?
I've been busy!! I got interested in another forum, landed a job, been out of town....lol no time spent online hardly at all, not on myLot anyway. Hehe So I'm just trying to catch up with a few things.
Been battling some really cold rainy weather, I think it's rained more this fall/winter than it did all spring/summer! I'm just praying it don't freeze up, hubby's got some races this week in Chicago, and it's sort of bad up there now.
Other than all that, we're good. Hope your work week will go better for you! Take Care

I may do two weekends in one discussion from now on. I think that's working out a bit better. So yes, let this discussion count for week 16 and 17 and I'll start a special Holiday one for next weekend!
I'm glad your weekend was good and quite active from the look of it. Take your time catching up and have fun with your husband. The world/mylot/forums/internet will still be here!
Stay warm too!

Haha that would work out good for me Gamer! 2 week's in one! Alrighty :)
I've been taking thing's in stride, I feel much more relaxed now that I am employed! Yeah!
I'm staying warm, as it was 19 degree's this morning when hubby left for work. But it's supposed to get warmer this week which is perfect for melting what we did get and then freezing it back up next week when it's cold again! Can't wait! LOL

First off, I am not convinced your world is dry.
That said, I can get my weekend bore-fest on telling you about me life, heehee.
Today I am dog-sitting.
I should be studying for finals, but my house is still being worked on. Office is still unfinished, but it is getting closer. Just boxed up some stuff on my desk preparing to move into my office. I'm hoping I can come home from work tomorrow or Sunday to find all my stuff set up in me new office.
Right now my grandpup is in my lap using the crook of my right arm for a pillow, making it difficult to type. Little booger seems content tho.
We have about 6-8 inches of snow drifted into our circle, so do you think this means that I'll get out of going into town today? Not likely. At least I won't have to drive. Don't think I won't still try to get out of it, tho, lol.
I was going to go see about another job today, but I can't get out. Shoveling snow and sweeping off cars is "man's work" and I am way too girly for all that nonsense. Sooo...I'm really glad I emailed a copy of my app & resume in yesterday. Hopefully the position won't be filled by Monday. 20 hours a week would come in really handy right now.
Sure, I went back to the Barrel, but my tray arm isn't what it used to be, so I'll be limited to about 4 hour shifts until I regain my strength. I have yet to purchase a single gift besides my youngest's new desk, so this season will be "fun" to say the least.
Last minute shopping, last minute getting everything I own out of my living room so we will have room for guests. This nonsense of working on 3 rooms at a time is getting old.
My kitchen is ashambles because they need the table for sawing paneling and stuff and the floor space for boards and stuff. With the store room being turned into my office and the new store room being currently used as my office, all dressers, books and boxes of miscellaneous, rarely used items are still in my living room, going on month 3. OY!
OK, WAKE UP NOW!
I'm done with my weekly nap-time log-sawer. =D

/facepalm me all ya want. I said it, I'll admit it.
There's just some things women shouldn't have to do.
*bracing myself for the libbers' fallout*
The position isn't filled, and I have an interview Friday morning. It's looking like it will be 40 hours through the holiday season, plus I will not be quitting the barrel, so I'd better enjoy Friday, because it will be my last "day off" for a while.
I'm still in me old office, btw. Whatta shock.
We'll probably be moving the stuff out of the living room on Christmas Eve, lol.
I'm about to get off here and go make my life a little more interesting. (insert devlish grin smiley here)
I wish I were still your age, Gamer...

This response is now about leaving the fly open! How do you feel when it happens to you? And what do you do when you see others with their flys open and they don't even know it?! =D

Funny and cute Ambie!
As for me, I've gotten much better at said problem. I do think though, and this goes back to that stare/look being a crime discussion, that if I did leave my fly undone then I could maybe take advantage of that warpy law! Oh wait... I forgot about those darn exposure laws...
Ah well! =P

The level is supposedly how active/great we are in a particular interest. A few are accurate, but others are poorly done.
I hope you get your new or newer used car Kio!

Hiya! I had to work this morning, so my weekend didn't really start until this afternoon. But my coworker remembered to save me a cookie from the ones they had at work yesterday when I was gone... and it was like the best cookie ever! They come from this bakery uptown, and I could just eat a whole box of them! I have to order some just for me one of these days. :P
I had funny customers today, mostly old people who talked a lot about themselves. Working in a bank is weird. Everyone feels the need to explain to you the purpose of the transactions they are doing, so you get to hear a lot about people's lives and money situations and stuff.
Oooo this afternoon my son was sitting on top of this plastic storage tub as a chair, because he's weird like that... and I thought "I'll go get him a pillow and put it on the tub for a cushion". So I did, and my husband said "He's just going to take it off"... which is of course what happened. So then my husband duck-taped the pillow to the tub, and now there's a new Dusty-perch! He wouldn't use the real chair we bought for him, but he'll sit on a freaking plastic storage tub! I love my weird little boy! *giggles* :)

I'm gravitating toward that bank thing more than everything else. I just don't get why people have to explain everything in a bank transation! I'm a quiet one when it comes to the bank.
Your kid is silly... I have to admit! But eh, he's that age and things like that happen! Oh and have fun with the cookies!
