How often do you start a new topic of discussion?

When I first started out, my discussion starting was VERY rare. Now that I'm established I tend to start discussions more often. Not just to inform, and not just to at least try and satisfy some of mylot's demends for discussions, but because I like the topics (or at least discussing/sharing them)

It has been quite awhile since I have started a new discussion. The fact is that I don't feel that I have anything to contribute right now and it is also very displeasing to use my computer when the graphics are messed up. When I have something truly important to say then I will definitely start a new discussion.

I start a discussion only when I have something to clear up or a query or to share something. I am not very active at Mylot these days so only a few started discussions this month!

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I won't start one for weeks and then I'll start 6-7 in one day. It just depends. I keep a notebook full of discussions to choose from b/c alot of times when I go to bed I'll start thinking of topics and they just run like water till I fall asleep. Thankfully, I write them down or I'd never remember them come morning. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I don't post a new discussion very often, though sometimes I may get inspired and post 2 in one day. :P It just depends on whether or not I have something I want to discuss.

I start one when I have some worth while saying or wanting to share with other mylotters. Rarely more than two in one day but I am thinking about starting more, just at the moment I don't see the point :) ~Joey

I only start a discussion when i have something in my mind.Sometimes every day one or two times and sometimes it will take days or weeks before i find a discussion so it's hard to say how often i start a new topic of discussion. When i don't have ideas for topics i just respond to others discussions.

About once every month.

I've only started 1 discussion, I like to reply more. I'm with you on the posting for the sake of posting, that's now how it's supposed to work.

when i am on ill usually start 2-5 depends on the day

I try and start at least one conversation a day. I try to do it on something that interests me or that is going on. I often ask questions to try and get lots of responses. So far I haven't come up with anything that has gotten a ton of responses. I think that the ones that have the most responses are those with around 20. However, I never just start a conversation to start a conversation. Additionally it doesn't seem that starting conversations makes you that much money (I could be wrong since I always reply to a bunch of conversations each day), but it seems that the most money I make does come from all of my replies. I sometimes get carried away (okay a rather often) and end up sharing more then the conversation starter...

i just start a new discussion when i have the inspiration. do it with a peaceful spirit.i think we should learn or know some information from here,not just give the titles as quickly as we can. here is a good place to communicate with all kinds of people, so please cherish it ,ha !

I have never started a discussion, as I am new to the site, but I'd like to think that if I did, it would only be a discussion that I had sincere interest in. Truthfully, I think I am more likely to be the "responder" than the "poster". I'm always interested in hearing what others have to say and sharing my opinion.

HI heartuvgold: For me, i used to post several new discussions a day at the first several days in order to get more responses and earn more american cents.later i changed my mind, i like response the other discussion better. so now i seldom post new topic,usually i am here for answering other question,LOL,example yours.

I've posted alot of discussions but I do acually want to know people's responses to them. I will be doing something totally random and then have something pop into my head and wonder what other people think. And I like to reply to discussions alot!!! It's so much fun to try to help others and to just talk to people. Expecially since I stay home all day with a 3year old and a baby. It's nice to talk to adults even if it's over the internet.
