How fair is our justice system. My husband got into some trouble when he was younger and he hit a cop car and got sentenced to 22 yrs in prison. He served four and got released on parole. Not to long ago a guy married my sister and he sexually malested my Nephews ages 4,6,9. Plus he was cought malesting a little girl. And guess what he is going to serve. 4 yrs how messed up is that. so is the justice system saying that a man who hit a cop car is more of a serious crime then a man who malested kids. I just dont understand. in four years this sick monster is going to be running the streets again. Im not complaining that my husband was sentenced two 22 yrs im just discusted that this monster is only sentenced to four yrs. can anyone help me understand how our justice system works because to me its pretty messed up.

I'm sorry. That's a real tough job you're asking for. Nobody can explain our justice system because there's none. A system can only be called a system if everythings in place but since its not, then there's no justice system at all. Anywhere you go, justice is really twisted. However, let's just bear in mind that these people won't get away with everything at all times. They will have their turn. Life won't be in their favor at all times. Let's just hope we won't be victims again of these injustices. Let's just view these things as things that will make us stronger people if we survive this life.

I posted a discussion on a mother getting 3 years...
for Killing her OWN SON! -_-
The justice system does need help in many ways. There was also the case of an illegal immigrant being let off after the serial rape of a 5 year old. He then committed murder and only then was actually forced to face justice! The WORST part of that case and the murdering moms/wives is that people (and the courts!) EXCUSE this stuff! Well its alright. But don't anyone come crying to me when the states are set ablaze.

that is horrible 3 yrs for killing her son she should have gotten much more that that. and the rape of a five year old should have been enough to send that other person away for along time. things like that shouldn't be excused.

Justice system is always driven by external forces which are neither emotional nor rational. it is something like old saying 'Powerful people rule the world'
