Can you really tell just by looking?

I was having a discussion with my grandma the other day when she mentioned this.
She said something about being able to see if a woman has kids before just by looking at her figure.
I asked her how she does it. She couldn't exactly tell me how she know when she sees a woman and make that judgment.
So it makes me wonder, is it really possible to tell just by looking if a woman you have never met before has already have kids or not?
How do you see if it is true?
What do you look out for?
What are the tell-tale signs that give her away?
I am curious and would appreciate it if anyone can enlighten me.

I can't always tell, but I've never had kids, so it could be my lack of experience, lol. I don't feel like it's always possible though, cause I remember once meeting a lady who'd had a baby and was in amazing shape. She had a six pack and I was so jealous when I found out she'd had a baby and looked that good! hehe

It's not the shape of her body it is the way she looks, the way she walks, the way she stands and the expression on her face. It is really hard to describe but mothers just have a different "look" about them.

I cannot tell, but I will continue to stare at the thumbnail that you posted to figure it out ;)

I think it's definitely easier to tell in women 30+ if they have had children,
as most simply have that sort of maternal nature.
I can't say that I have this particular talent, though.
Some women I am absolutely gobsmacked to find either have or haven't had children.

I can't tell at all. I'm either rusty or inexperienced. -_-
Looks good though, I'll say that.

I don't think it's full proof and many women (especially younger) can be an exception. I suppose it's a lot like the high school concept of being able to tell a senior apart from a freshman. Being able to tell a college student apart from a high school student. It shows in their body language and how they talk/carry themselves, I think.
