I have always like cranberries, and also cranberry sauce with orange zest...
when shopping today I saw that craisins (by ocean spray) now has orange flavored dried cranberries, so for 90cents, why not give them a try? oh my! what a taste! these are so good! I just thought I would open the package and take a taste, but am finding it difficult (even on my third handful) to not reach back into the bag.
have you tried these yet?
I think I will put some in a cup with mini marshmallows as a treat for my dd tomorrow.
When I make a broco-slaw I use craisins for my friends and family that do not like raisins, it goes over pretty good... I wonder how these orange craisins would be in something like that.
now I wish I had picked up a few more than just the 2 packs!

We love crasins. I make cookies with them all the time. White chocolate oatmeal cookies with crasins are fantastic. I have not tried the orange flavored ones yet. I'm going to look for them when I go shopping on Thursday.

I did go ahead and make the oatmeal cookies with them in place of the raisins.
this oatmeal cooking recipe calls for ground cloves - the clove flavor really mingled nicely with the orange in the cranberries.
will have to make more of these! now I hope the store still has them for 90cents.

I have never tried them. I have a coupon for some. They sound really good.

I love craisins too! They're so tangy & versatile for cooking. They're very good in oatmeal cookies, trail mix and salads. :}
