well for me the defination of an open minded person is one who accepts change of ideas,views openly.one who is ready to change his or her thought according to the change in the time.i am an open minded person and i love changes in my life.change is necessary for everyone in his or her life since toherwise life becomes montonous.there are many people who love to be what they are and also they think that whatever they are thinking is just the best.they are very reluctant in adopting new views and thoughts.i guess many peole in my country are still like this.

I used to be quite partial towards my own opinion and reluctant to receive others' ideas, for i thought my views were always the perfect one. But after entering university, I gradually realized that my way of thinking was left far behind others.So i began to open my mind and try diffrent ways to deal with difficulties,and amazingly i find that i have made much breakthrugh about my knowledge study and gained much in daily life. Now i can be proud to say that i am an open-minded person and will always be! thanks for your post!

Open-mindedness has to do with accepting others for being different and letting it all be okay. I like to think I am open minded though there are some issues I struggle with. Many Americans are not open-minded. They think everyone should be like them, whether it is the color of their skin, their religion, or their other beliefs.

Hello dear fanji. I think that I am open-minded as I am easy to accept new ideas. I think that most of the people around me are of the same because we share the same new ideas, especially my colleagues. Thanks for your discussion.
