Got My Chocolate Orange

I started a discussion about trying to find the mult-colored ribbon candy. Someone mentioned those chocolate candies shaped like an orange that you bang to break into slices like an orange. Well today when I was out shopping I went to a couple stores searching for the coloroed ribbon candy and found NONE. But I did get me my Terry's Chocolate Orange. Wooo Hooo! This thing will last me a few days at least as far as my chocolate fix goes. hAVE YOU EVER SEEN THIS CANDY? hAVE YOU EATEN IT? Do you like this candy? Do you give it as a stocking stuffer also? They also have rasberry I think.

Those chocolate oranges are sooooo delectable! I just love them. But whenever I buy one, I never get to eat any of it because silly me introduced my kids to them and they end up stealing them. I think they have discovered every single one of my "hidey spots" that I stash them in. I'm about to resort to putting them in my lock box, but with my luck they would snag on my key when I wasn't looking and grab it out of there. LOL! I haven't heard of the multi colored ribbon candy though. I'm going to have to ransack our local penny candy store and see if they have any there. I'll let you know if I find any.

I have gotten one of these before! It was really fun to break apart. haha
I don't think I had the Orange flavored one though. I really really think it was something like Lime. And it was wrapped in green foil. It has been a couple of years now.
I didn't hate it, but it definitely didn't make the list of being one of my favorites either.

Hi Grandpa Bob!Oh your so lucky! I LOVE Terry chocolate oranges. I like the white chocolate ones. I tried them for the first time 2 Christmas's ago while pregnant with my daughter and WOW I was hooked lol. When I do my Christmas baking and I make shortbreads I often put a chunk of a chocolate orange on the top after I take them out of the oven, but before they cool off so it melts just a lil bit and it is SOOOOO good!
Luv & Hugzz, PurpleTeddyBear.

I have seen this, but have not eaten it. Besides the orange and the raspberry I think there is one other flavor. I always am looking for them in dark chocolate, though. Come to think of it, I have not seen them this year, but I have not been looking for them, so I might have missed them. My local Krogers/Meier's affiliated store usually has them, and I do not even have to look. I think one of my kids got one one year as a stocking stuffer.

Hazelnut is the other flavor. And they do come in dark chocolate as well. I haven't seen a Krogers Grocery store since I moved from Detroit.

I love this candy, forget giving it as a stocking stuffer - it is a Debbie stuffer. If I buy it, it will not leave the house to go somewhere else. It will come home with me and be treasured and eaten, while I relax and enjoy the taste.

I have never tried a chocolate orange, but they seem to be quite popular during this time of year. I am seeing them everywhere. I can't seem to get the grasp of orange and milk chocolate. But I am sure you are having a wonderful time eating and munching on it for the next few days!

Poland also has a fruit filled hard candy that I've always
loved. I usually got some from my greatgrandpa when he was
alive. I miss that candy.

Terry's orange chocolate?
I can't stand them but here they're very popular, my wife is like the cookie monster of orange chocolate and I fear that I might just have to buy some for christmas lol.. My sons also started eating them, but he's just a young'un ... I hate them though, horrible...

I have had these before, and I think it was the raspberry that I had. They are good. Raspberry is one of my favorite flavors, so I would choose that flavor over Orange! Glad you got your chocolate fix!
