Bobby Petrino resigned as head coach for the Atlanta Falcons today. The Falcons organization has a lot of work today to turn this team into a winner.
I'm not sure Byron Leftwich can be the answer at QB, especially with his history of injuries. Derek Anderson would be good in a Falcons uniform, as would just about any other QB other then those on the Falcons roster.
I think they bring someone in to compete with Leftwich for the job and let Harrington walk.

I thought about your question. I got many answers in my mind. But the main thing is that i didn't understand it clearly. I will be nice if you are more descriptive. Please make me understand. So that i can answer your discussion. Thank you.

I was very surprised this morning to hear the news. I thought he would at least wait until the end of the season to jump from the sinking ship.I don't think college coaches make good NFL coaches. After watching Harrington all those years in Detroit I say let him walk. He just isn't pro material. Leftwich is just to fragile. I think you play Redman the rest of the year and start rebuilding fast.

That was a surprising announcement wasn't it? It just hasn't been a good year for the Falcon's with the damper Vicks has left on the team. A total shame.

B. Petrino looks very sketchy after that press conference on monday night football. Then the next day he accepts a job at Arkansas? This right after N. Saban shafted the Dolphins last year. S. Spurriur is another college coach that busted in the NFL recently. Perhaps NFL GM's and owners will realize that hiring successful college coaches does not equate to success in the NFL.
