I have read many a discussion with people complaining that mylot doesn't pay very much money for our participation. Well, to reach the payout amount all you have to do is earn 34 cents a day for 30 days and you would be there. Now how hard is that to do? All you have to do to earn that much is post 5 good quality discussions and about 20 responses. This should only take about 2 hours if that. Then you would receive your paycheck every month. Now, really how hard is it to post that many? Not very hard. If you are having fun and enjoy the people here it should be very easy to do.
How many discussions and responses do you do everyday? If you can't log into mylot one day do you make it up the next day, and post more? I can usually find the time everyday to post a few, as I mentioned, but if I miss a day it is a little harder to make it up the next day.

I doubt making 5 good quality discussion and 20 responses will help you achieve 34 cents a day...
I posted more than 30+ quality replies (self-proclaimed) and I only earned 17 cents....moreover, the earnings are not always stable....If I do the same tomorrow, I might earn 12 cents or 24 cents....we won't know...
I post as much as I can in an hour if I can as I don't want to waste too much time here when I can use the time for other things

Well I have started 5 discussions every day and responded about 25 responses, every day and I average 50 cents a day. I have reached my payout and then some, in just three weeks. So, yes it can be done. I guess my postings are of good quality. Not saying yours aren't, but why else would I make that much if mine weren't, according to you. You also will make more if you start discussions that get a lot of responses and if you want to you can check my profile and you will see I get a lot of responses to mine. So maybe this is why I average 50 cents a day.

I just checked out your profile and have seen you only started 5 discussions since you became a member. So I will now go back and I will help your earnings by responding to them. That is what mylot is all about, helping each other make some extra money. I like to do this and I have fun while I am posting.

The value of this site for making friends, being part of a terrific community and sharing news and happiness is priceless to get a few cents each day is an added bonus. For me the friendship of the site means more than money. I make on average ironically $.30 to $.50 a day. I don't do as many discussions as I used to, as I much prefer to respond than to start new discussions. I rely on my notifications as to when I respond, rather than trawling through to find new ones. I have no targets, not even to reach the monthly requirement I just have fun that the site always gives me.

Wel, I only have about $0.76 and mylot isn't so addictive for me so I'm not so active.....
But 2 hours a day x 30 days is 60 hours for $10.
It IS pretty hard to be motivated if you don't have great friends here or something....!

No one is saying that it is hard, but no matter how you look at it isn't worth the time and effort. You say five good discussions and 20 responses a day, which you estimate will take two hours...Okay. Thirty days worth of that is sixty hours. Sixty hours for ten bucks, that isn't good pay no matter how you look at it. In other places someone might get excited. Here...my rent is 760/month...I can not be on myLot for the money...it sucks!

You should see your banker if you want fast money. If you do not have people helping you you will be long time in earning any good amount at anything you do online.

LOL...I haven never believed in "fast" money and even less in "easy" money. I just like working hard and making it work hard for me. MyLot isn't a place where the money is worth the time, or anywhere near it. However, I have been working toward making money. Being one who isn't a big fan of referrals, I can't say that I have any help. But last month I made $311.54 which I think is fairly decent...

More post and response,more earning,that's the regulation.It's fair and reasonable for everyone wanting to earn more money with short time,however,in fact,not everyone but few people can have the ability and opportunity to achieve that.My opinion is that no hard posting and making response,no huge earning,and why we get here and for what we come here is the first queston we may ask ourselves.For me,I come here for fun and communication,money second.

I upload many pictures and post enough replies each day.But my own topics arent answered, not even by my friends, although i always reply a their topics.Furthermore, so far it isnt so good, you know why?10 dollars a month is funny actually...as i have said again, just by whining to my parents i can get 20 euros and ask for more later :)
What else to say?If you see it from the earning perspective, it isnt worth it at all.The combination of earning and interesting reading is what keeps us here.

You are right dear chris.If one day I miss to login to mylot I will be most probably logging in after a week or two or probably after a month.I logged in to mylot today after one and a half month and that too when I recieved two of your responses to the discussions I had posted earlier.Your calculation is correct but the maximum I could earn on mylot in a day was $17.When my job is over I get tired and a bit lazy to sit and type patiently.That's the problem.Anyway its lucky of you to find some time everyday to contribute to mylot.I too hope so but I don't get enought time.I hope that you already might have got your first payment and you are nearing towards the 1000th post. All the best for a second payment

ok twenty good quality reponses would be easy to do but how can you guarantee that you will have five good discussions at the end of the day. i always try to make some good discussions and people don't respond to them so right now i'm sticking to responding only. maybe when some great ideas come up i will create some new discussions as for now, i'm sticking to responding.

Im not trying to be preachy or something, but one thing I like about myLot is that you don't need to post too much as long you have good discussions started. It's been a while since my last visit here and Im still loved keep coming back on the site once in a while. I just missed those juicy discussions here with my co-Myloters..

I can only make two new posts a day. I want to make three posts a day, but I have difficulty when it comes to what to write or in what interest it should go. I wish they would put them in alphabetic order, then it would be easier. I am busy commenting on my responses to two of my posts. You know me, want to get in the last word. I have to find some interesting subjects. I have not made enough so far because being around Christmas it is very busy. I do find it hard to post if I missed one day though.

I usually do 10 cents a day, if I'm lucky. But it doesn't bother me at all, mylot is fun, it's not all about making money!
Anyway, I post a new discussions every now and then (more then than now, haha) and respond a lot to my friends and discussions that interest me.
do you really think that with 5 new discussions and 20 responses per day I could earn $10 a month? wow...
About the two hours you need to write all that... english is not my mother tongue, so I guess for me it would be much longer than that, hehe

chrislotz, after I've read you post above, it have given me more motivation to continue my social/internet life here on myLot. 34 cents a day is a great earning rate. But honestly, I found that very difficult to reach; the fact is i'm earning between 10 to 20 cents a day. As what you have mentioned above, I need to post 5 good quality discussions, which seems to so tiring and boring. Currently, what I'm doing to earn quality earning is, making 20+ responses and uploading 10 images everyday. I hope we will earn more sooner. Thanks to your advice.

Well spending 2 hours at my lot everyday to earn 34 cents does not sound that appealing. However I try to post as many posts as I can on a particular day. I dont set targets however, I respond to discussions I feel like responding, I don't respond to every discussion I see just for the sake of earning money.

Well, that's a good attitude that we should value here in myLot. We don't need to post here for the sake of making more money. Why not enjoying ourselves with quality discussions while earning?

I do not think it is very hard to earn payout in every month. A person can reach payout as you said by starting some good discussions and by making good responses. I have got payout twice. I do not come to myLot every day. I try to post as far as possible when I get time. I also think when a person enjoys posting he or she will make more and more posts. I usually tries to make between 20 to 50 posting per day when I come to myLot. This month I am trying hard to post more posts because I am looking forward to earn more money from myLot.

haha,I can learn something from you.
I am a newer here,so I want to get some experience from others.Usually,I do respond the discussion more and just respond the one I interest and have something to say. I should work first,when I have time I have a look of mylot and other webs.I do not put this thing very important of my life,just for fun.
