Yes, my DVR has sat silent all week because there are no new shows to record. So annoyting! I wish they would just settle this strike! By the time the new episodes start airing I'll have forgotten where the shows left off......

Actually they always start running reruns this time of year, through the holidays, etc because less people are watching during the holidays. All shows run reruns this time of year, writers strike or not.

From what I've read (here and in articles), there should be 1 more episode. However, they will probably hold off on airing it until the new year. I would doubt that it is a seasonal episode since they can get away with only doing one every 3 years with the way the show is written. Their one year internship lasted 3 seasons. :)
The writers strike is going to make TV a sad place soon...there are so many reality and game shows coming out. I plan on upping my NetFlix subscription so that I can at least have some interesting entertainment until the strike is resolved.

It sounds like we have the same thoughts with Netflix! I'll just up mine to having three movies out at a time and I should always have a movie at home to watch :) YAY!
Back to Grey's--I also thought there was one more episode taped. I guess we will find out soon...or at least I hope so! Happy Holidays!

I'm sorry to disagree, but there is another episode. It won't air until 2008.
Karen I agree why not show us the other episode now. I'm willing to patiently wait for new, if I have seen all of the episodes that are ready for us to view.

I read in the newspaper yesterday that there is one new episode left of Grey's, but it has not been scheduled to air yet. It will probably air in Jan., when people have stopped doing holiday things and then we'll just have to wait it out.

I don't watch the show but I can relate b/c they do that on my shows too! I think it's thier way of making you watch longer. They only have x episodes, but they drag them out for months and months so that you keep starring at your tv.
Do you know what my show did to me? They put it on hold this week so they could show off one of their new shows :P I don't want to watch a new show during MY show's time :P

There are no more episodes as the strike has halted all production. There won't be anymore for this season if I had to make a bet. It'd take at least a few weeks to write an ep, a few weeks to film and edit it and then another week or so to ship it to the stations to film.
So if the strike ended today, we might get episodes by March or April and the seasons ends in May.
So if this strike is resolved, we probably won't get any more episodes this year.
