Hey all! I have become ridiculously obsessed with the National Geographics Channel. In fact, it's been keeping me up into the morning hours when I should be sleeping at night. I love this channel and particularly their late night programs (how convenient, right?). Anyway, I'm wondering if there is somewhere I can buy DVD's or somehow record these shows. I realllllly want to watch them, but I don't want to stay up all night to do so. Any advice would be much appreciated, and I think that my poor boyfriend would be pleased as well- as it seems his sleep is being effected due to the TV, too.

I like National geographic but, sadly,I cant watch it often.thats because we only get this by satellite, and i dont have a receiver of mine, but my uncle who lives on the floor above of us has.So, whatever he watches, we do too.If it is National Geographic I am really happy. How about buying a Dvd recorder with hard drive? I guess its possible to record those shows at it.I wish i could buy but they are pretty expensive still, and i wont go buy one of those that record to dvd-r.They are useless.

It is really an interesting channel as it gives us windows to other worlds we don't know of. I can't give you advice as to how to get CD's on National Geographics Channel because I'm not sure if they do. I do however know that there are Discovery Channel CD's for sale in record stores. You can probably check out some of those record stores if they do.

During chldhood days, Natioal Geographic Magazine was out favourite. In fact we have complete collection from 1955 to 1998. Later, because of prohibitively exhorbitant cost, we stopped the subscription. Iti s world's top class magazine.
My father in law has a good collection of casettes (VCR). Now I watch atleast twice a week, NG Channel. They are relly masters in production of nature, earthlife, environment, civilization etc.

I like this channel too, especially the shows about African predators as well as Air Crash Investigation. I haven't seen any DVD version of their programs.
