I searched for Karma, in discussions, hoping to be able to find some interesting discussions on the topic. Unfortunately, there wasn't any. Karma, in my opinion, is the mentality that when you do good, good will come back to you- as well as vice versa with bad. Do you believe in Karma? Have you had any personal experiences that you believe resulted from Good Or Bad Karma?

I am not sure if i believe in karma.I think karma is somewhat related to destiny, and i am not sure if i believe in destiny either. But i do think that by creating good, you encounter evil in your life, like the eternal battle between evil and good which is going on forever. I havent had any experiences, or i just couldnt make out if they were karma results.

A friend of mine on here is always starting discussions about karma.
I don't, to be honest it's like saying there's a god or that throwing salt over you shoulder will keep you safe. it's a bunch of croc to me but I can see why people follow and believe in it. it's just not for me :)

I do not believe God is doing it .I think its just that bad creates bad, and good creates good.i do not beleive that God is doing it.Thats just my opinion.Because if you do believe in God you also believe in forgiveness,so therefore he would not pay you back for something you did wrong if he has forgiven you.

Yes brian i certainly do,I believe that every thing we do that is bad or not a good thing to do will come right back to us and bite us in the but$...It may not come back to us the same way we sent it out but it will come back. The only way i know to break the chain is to start doing things right, then finally after we get though paying for our wrong, then good things will come our way.I use to hear people say all the time"I don't know what i did to deserve this" well somewhere down the line they had probably made a mistake and they are now paying for it.We sometimes over look our mistakes because it does not always come back to us the same way.I know of a couple of women who have been a big influence in breaking up a home of another. This same woman was in a relationship, and she really loved this person and he did not love her back, but he mananged to lead her on,but she is down hearted today, and she forgot that she had helped to break up someone elses home,so you see we do get paid back, but maybe not the same way all the time.I do not want to pay for bad deeds so a long time ago i heard someone say "what goes around comes around" I took that into my heart and from that day since now i have tried with all that is within me to do the right thing.Have i failed?yes, but i do not have nearly as many bad things come back to me since i started that journey...

I believe that if you do good, good happens to you. However i believe you really have to know, think, understand and believe that what you are doing is bad in order for it to actually effect you. If you know its wrong or bad and you continue to do something, then bad will happen to you. But if you dont think that, if you think that what you are doing is allright, then it wont effect you at all.
In my opinion karma is a state of mind above all other things.

I definetly belive in karma. I dont really agree with calling it karma but, I know that good deeds never go without a great blessing. For example, one day I was parking my car at a metered parking and there was a girl who need quarters so she asked me. I only had 2 quaters so I gave it to her. She was going to give me a dollar for the quarters but I toold her not to worry about it. I mean I wsant going to charge her for fifty cents. I went to a vending machine that same day and bought something and it gave me back a dollar more then what I needed. Talk about karma!!

I think that everyone should do good regardless of Karma or not. To me it just seems like you only want to do good becase you are going to get something in return. Not putting what you belive down or anything because everyone belives in something. That's just what I feel when people are like oh it's your karma.

As per our southindian meanings karma means for individuals' dutie towards family or to their soul. My father has been adjudged by our southindian priest as karma yogi meant that a dutiful person. Those who were doing perfect attention towards their duty of whatever consequence is called beautiful person of that duty performer. Karma's are daily neccessities as per our south indian culture to both and women. But upto me i am not still attained the status of my fathers' karma yogi status.

I do believe in Karma and that good things come to good and bad turn into bad things to you.
I have many personal experiences that doing good, righteous things took me to better places in my life.
And the opposite it's true, when I did some bad things due weakness, it came back to hunt me.
So, I learned my lesson and keep trying do do Good to be righteous and keep on God's way.

Firm Karma believer here!! I was a waitress for a long time and on my nights off when I went out- I would always take care of my fellow restaurant people and in return I would pretty much with the exception of a couple bad nights, would actually make great money and at least once a night, I would get a crazy tip..
I try not to let off bad Karma, but that can bite you too. I haven't had too many experiences with that though..
I know this restaurant example is a little superficial but it isn't my only experience but the easiest to understand I guess...
