EBay Problems

I am so gutted, upset and hurt at the moment. I would tell anyone to stay well away from EBay. Let me explain my story. I have been selling and buying with EBay for about 2 years. Over the last few months I started selling well on EBay and getting a really good reputation as a seller because I always gave good customer care and service. EBay recognised my achievments and rewarded me as a Powerseller. At first I was a bronze Powerseller they then made me silver. I had a good feedback and a good rapport with customers. I was posting on the community boards and also on the Powerseller boards helping others get ahead with EBay. Yesterday I went to sign into my EBay account and found it had been suspended no questions asked no warning nothing. They said I owed them £70 even though I kept up to date with payments I owed them and always paid on time. I thought maybe it was because of the £70 outstanding so paid them immediately. My account was still suspended even though I had paid so I looked at why it was suspended and completed a Shill bidding tutorial as supposedly they found me guilty of this even though I had never done it. Shill bidding is where you bid on one of your own items to take the price up. I had never ever done this before. There was no evidence how could they prove I had done this? There were no questions and no evidence they could show to prove I had been doing this bidding. Still I completed the tutorial but, despite to say my account was still suspended. So I looked at why it was still suspended. Now they were saying my account was linked with another one that had been suspended a while ago. Yes, I knew about this it was my husbands but, it didn't have anything to do with me and my husband had paid EBay his fee's outstanding but, they still said they hadn't recieved them. So now I was being penalised because of my husbands account even though this was some 2 years ago and EBay had never questioned this before. Why now? So soon to Christmas with customers waiting for goods. I will still send them out because I am a good reputable person, but EBay have suspended me for 12 months. They have taken all my Powerseller priveledges away so I can't even access the telephone number to phone them up about my account. I don't even think they would listen. The only thing I can think of is someone reported me as I did have a go at someone on the Powerseller boards who picked me up on my spelling because I spelt something wrong. I have a learning disability which means sometimes my spelling isn't exactly perfect and sometimes I get the wrong words for things. I cannot believe the integrity of EBay and the way they have just got me down as guilty. With no explanation no way of asking for my story and the so called Powerseller status that you would think EBay look after because I have paid EBay in excess of thousands of pounds recently. Well they don't care all they care about is themselves and getting more money. So I warn every single person who reads this don't go anywhere near EBay you cannot trust anything on that website. Least of all the staff and company EBay. I only hope that other people will read this and have the lucky escape that I never had because otherwise you will be giving your money to a company that won't look after you and will take your business away at the drop of a hat. Thanks for reading and I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year. I certainly won't be going into the new year with EBay.

So sorry to hear about your eBay troubles. It really sounds like a nightmare, and worse with the Christmas season upon us. I hope you'll be vindicated soon. That's bad that you can't get help from the eBay staff. So far, I have had no problems dealing with them. It's been awhile since I used eBay though. It's possible that they're getting so big that they need to overhaul their customer and technical support staff.

Thanks yes I see what you mean. I don't think I would ever trust them enough to sell on there again.
