I didn't knit much for Christmas this year, but I always get these ideas that are *almost* impossible to get finished in the last week before Christmas. It hit me today that I should make a warm shrug (type of vest) for my Mom. I have to get with it to get it done it time, now!
How about you? Are you through?

I'm still knitting frantically, but fear not, there are patterns out there that can be done in almost no time. For example, I'm planning on doing some of these hats, they take about half an hour to make and are great stash busters!

I keep saying that I am going to start knitting again but still have not done so. I used to knit all the time. It has been about 10 years since I have done it though

I quit knitting for a long time, too. My shoulders and back were protesting the long hours I used to knit. I started up again a few years ago, but don't knit as much as I used to. It's relaxing to me and makes me feel like I'm doing something worthwhile instead of just being lazy when I sit.

All I made for christmas was a pair of mittens for my baby nephew this year. Last year I made much more for family members but this year I couldn't afford the yarn and the shipping and handling. :)
