Why people join when they are not active at all?

I'm new so I don't have any referals, but I think this is just a thing that always happens: all my referals at another site are inactive, since they probably joined just out of courtesy and don't want to partecipate

how do you get referals under you.... do you get paid for the postings that they do? how does mylot know that they are referals under you?

I have four referrals at present. However, none of them is active. I understand that there are two reasons for this: First one is that they are not able to stick around due to very low pay rate per post. Second one is that the minimum payout is also quite big as compared to the per post possible earning on Mylot. They do not have patience to wait for such a long time.

really?it is incredible. you post 2904 messages.and just got 8 referrals. maybe you can give your response to the discussion which I started .I will give you referrals.lol..

well a lot of people wanted fast money and they cant see it here in mylot.but if you enjoy the discussions and responses you wont even notice that you have raked in money faster than you think.just make sure to enjoy every minute of joining discussions and you will get good earnings.

It is not right to blame the inactive referrals.I have 26 referrals and only one member is active.Majority people join here to expect more returns and only few sticks in this site.It is very difficult to get members who is interested in discussions only.I joined in this site to improve my english and communication skill.Here we can meet people fro different corner of the world and share our ideas.I think there is no site like mylot who really pays for your discussions.What ever the small amount i am getting from this site is a bonus for me.

Nope not any more, one of them used to be active for awhile and i earnt about $5.00 from them all up but they stopped after about $20.00 so since then i have earnt nothing from refferals.

I do not have any referrals as I do not want ask my friends and then they join because they do not want to hurt my feeling by refusing. If they show any interest and ASK to join then that is a different story and they would more likely to make a number of postings.

I have 11 and only 1 was active but she went to yuwie and also opened a coffee shop. So I think she doesn't get time any more. I was saddened that she became inactive because I sent her a PM and she didn't reply. I thought we were friends...silly me. I think a lot of people see that it pays very little per post and so it would take a long, long time to make any substantial earnings and it just wouldn't be worth it. I spend 8 -12 hours a day online, a lot of that time - at least one third - I spend here at myLot and it takes me 3 months to make payout. When I first started, I made payout each month....about $12.

i have 3 referrals under me and none of them is really that active. but it's ok because i understand that they are busy with schoolwork. i'm also busy with schoolwork that i, myself is not an active member of myLot. see, i've been a member of myLot for a while now but i haven't reached about 1000 posts. and that's what a member for so long now should have posted.. about a thousand now. i also think that some myLotters get bored because sometimes the rate is low..and that this isn't really their hobby -- to post and answer questions.

may be they do not get time or they do not know how much this site is good.

some joined out of curiousity,some joined because of a friend,some just to try what's in it,and some because they try to look for extra source of income.

Well, for me I believe that maybe they are busy with their own life but they join thinking it is a great and fun place to make friends as well as money....But other things come up and sometimes you wont be able to go online or you just got bored and you don't feel like it anymore...When I first joined I was on here almost 8 hours a day or so and continue to be on here like crazy then it got to the point where I go oh well and then I started not to come in as much but then now I am back again hehe just give them some time...

I do not have any referrals under me. But I think most of them would join because they are curious to kow what myLot is all about after which they probably get busy with other stuff or might not find myLot as interesting as they would like or maybe they just haven't got the hang of the place. If these referrals are people you know, then why don't you ask them directly and if it's because they haven't got the hang of the place, maybe you can help them.

I also have 2 referrals under me,one never made a post and the other one I think made at least 3 or more posts, they were never active and I have never earned a cent from them. Maybe they joined because they don't wanna decline my invitation but without the intention of staying and being active.

Well, there are different reasons why some people join but are not that active... it can be out of curiosity... or in the hopes that they will earn big bucks immediately upon joining... or because they have nothing else to do... whatever the reason is... not everybody can afford to be active here in mylot... I have two referrals and none of them are active... i just simply gave up looking for referrals and just tried concentration of being more active by posting discussions and replying to some...

I have three referrals, but they are not active at all. Perhaps they join here because of my invitation. After that, they found here is boring and they can earn anything from Mylot. So they are not active at all. It is harder for my Chinese friends to be active here, because they are not so good at English.

well subha there could be many resons,maybe da users must be busy so didnt got time to log in then,maybe they had built up their interest in some other things etc,well thats what i can think
