Are you a liar? how often do you lie? why do you lie?

I try to avoid lying for many reasons.Firstly i feel guilty, secondly i feel ashamed if someone finds out i am lying, thirdly because it just isnt right.There are times you just cant avoid it though, so i have lied too.What matters though is it is always easier for me to speak the truth even if it is a painful one than lie.

i dont lie.. i dont need to lie. i dont want to lie... there is no point to lying.. it just comes back to bite you in the butt later.. and to be honest is it really worth it... depending on the lie i guess but i rather be outmost honest with ppl and not lie to them... one turns into many just remember that

I don't being lied to. I hate it when someone knowingly tells me a lie, or if someone says they are going to do something and then they don't do it. Now you will never count on that person, even if it wasn't even that big of a deal. Just tell me you're not going to do it. Don't lie about it. Sorry, didn't mean to rant. It's true though, honesty is the best policy. I once heard Tim the Toolman Taylor say he only allows himself 2 lies a year. Good policy.

Keminem, your definition of lie is correct, a lie remains a lie unless it is proved otherwise. i do lie atimes but not at all times like some people do. lying is dangerous and deceptive, and the word of God says that all liars shall go to hell, may God forgive us all. there is need for all human beings to be trust worthy and reliable that will make our family, community, nation, continent, and the world at large a better place for inhabitation or living. there is no small lie, a lie can lead to another one that is the reason why it should be avoided completely from our lives. Myself, I have zero tolerance for lies because i cannot be decieved twice. No matter any reason behind a lie it should not be encouraged. thanks

I don't lie. I think a big part of that is I hate liars and I want people to be honest with me even if it hurts my feelings. I also don't really don't have reasons to lie.

I'm a liar. I've lied quite a bit for a majority of my life...and have grown a talent for it, but regardless I lie to stay out of trouble. To make myself, the real me, invisible. I've not lied very much for the last two years, at least to family. I've never lied to my friends. For the most part, I now carefully pick which truths or pieces of the truth to tell. To keep from lying, for reliance on a tool is a sure way to lose it someday. And that wouldn't be wise. Strangely enough, for being a liar...the thing I seek above all else, is truth. It is odd, isn't it? I have no problems with lying. It doesn't hurt me very much when someone lies to me. The only thing that hurts is if someone thinks I'm stupid enough to believe their lies forever. That's an insult to my intelligence. It makes THEM look stupid. It makes me angry. I'm an odd person, I know lol. These days though, unless it's smarter to lie, I am very honest. I speak my mind, I show people who I really am..and I am much happier for it. Though it is quite a daring thing to do, and might not have been a terribly bright decision in the long run..I'm still quite happy with it anyways.

In some ways, we all have to deny something, it may not be lying but I think its a white lie. Half truth, half lie so as not to hurt exactly a feeling of another person. I dont lie, but I wont say I have never lied.

....i do to lie if its important.....for emergency....or anything for the important things.....not for stupid things....don't play a other people to being a liar......enjoy life without doing bad things....:)
