My wife is fond of kitchen equipments and tools. Everything she keeps in good number although she used only one at a time. Talk about knives, there are dozens. Spoons, 50 of them. Frying pans 4 of them. Rice cooker - 3 of them. Many of them received as gifts. Other people get rid of these gifts by gifting it away. 3 things I hate in her is she is fond of collecting dress, she is fond of kitchen utensils and equipments, she is fond of jewellery. It is quite expensive affair indeed.
She also uses more cooking tools than required and as a result she spends a lot of time cleaning or washing it. I really cannot make out which one she uses less.

I have this spatula that gives way if it is carrying any weight over a small pancake. It is thick so it smears the pancakes around when we try to flip them. Useless but we keep it in case we have some sort of spatula emergency. Anyone need a spatula??

I have a ceramic slicer and a ceramic grater, both purchased at quiet a high cost. I don't use them as much I thought I would while buying them. I usually end up chopping everything i need with a knife, fine or sliced.
