Whay Me?

i find that there are not as many interesting discussions on here as there used to be and i also have found that my pay has gone up and down like a yoyo! maybe thats why you are losing interest in it? also the holidays are stressfull...

Well, I don't know I am only a few hours old. So, Has it been profitable for you. Are you bored with the amount of money or types of posts?

I'm not burnt out but I've been really busy so I haven't been able to be on a lot here lately. I got a new little baby to start watching that is 2 months old so he takes up much of my time but I don't mind cause he's the sweetest little boy.

I am hoping to make payout by February, as my earnings have been climbing less than 5 cents a day. It hasn't mattered how many topics I answer or start. I can understand burn out.

I am just burnt out in general, I work 55-60 hours a week for very little money, actually it does not even cover the bills. I do this because it is a nice way to kill time, there is not much on TV. I think there is one new show that I watch every week and that is it, I like one or 2 other shows but never get to see them. My days off are spent going to work for meetings it seems like every other week at least one. It always takes me at least 3 months to make a payout...I am at a 1.61. This time it may take 4 months.

Hi Grandpa Bob! I can't say I'm burnt out on here because I just came back on yesterday, but as far as being bernt out with everything else like the holidays, school, work, etc. I am burnt out like you are. It seems like it's been a really long year and I don't seem to have the energy I used to. I had a hard enough time getting up the motivation to do the Christmas tree. Maybe this is just a temporary thing that will pass quickly after we get a little bit of rest, at least I hope that's what it is. Good luck and hope you are feeling better again soon.

I haven't felt like doing much of anything today including answer or posting discussions. I spent a good part of yesterday answering discussions and it paid off but today is different. I totally understand what you are saying about a burn out. We work so hard on here and the pay is low. It's been interesting along the way.

well yeah your not alone on that kind feelings..im too i guess..since for a month or so its my first time to log in here and do some responses..maybe im just tired or just preoccupied last month...maybe a rest is needed atleast for days..as for me now im back!!!

With all you have been through lately, take a much needed break. I am not really burnt out. If I were you, I would go hide for the next two weeks...lol. I think you are feeling ok, given what has recently happened. In time, you will feel like your old self.

Hi Grandpa Bob, This doesn't surprise me with all you've been through lately. Don't push yourself, and just do what you can. I understand what you mean, about things being quiet here. It could be the holidays, but there have been other things going on too. One dear lady, who loves myLot, has apparently been banned, and we can't seem to get her back, not matter how hard we all try. I've just added her to my friends list, and she's accepted me, but can only 'read here' right now, and no posting. Such a long, sad story. Another of my friends is going through something really horrible, that I can't even speak of here. Then I feel bad for all you've gone through, so things have been getting me down too. I find Christmas an emotional time for me, as well, with memories of my parents, who passed away, many, many years ago, and of my late husband too. I've got a couple of discussion ideas, and so I guess I'll start them, but can't promise you too much excitement there.;) Hugs to you, and take care of yourself.

i guess sometimes it's good to take a break. Then more questions will pop up. And especially if you're grieving. Enjoy your family, enjoy the season, and hope to see you back here refreshed grandpa bob!

I just found out about this place last week...going strong I guess. Then again, if I had 5700+ posts I am not sure I would ever want to see a keyboard again. Will let you know if I ever half as many posts as you and give you an update on my burnout level.

You'll make payout. I have faith in you. :-) I get bored so very easy. I have burnout at leat twice a week from the computer, period. You have been through a lot in the last month or so. I would have burned out a long time before you did. You'll get back to your normal self before too long. (hugs)

I might have a day or two where I am not as enthused but for the most part like having mylot in my life. I do miss it when I am gone too long.

Glad to see that you have made a comeback in the last week! I'm not sure if I will make payout again this month or not. And this is the best month I have had yet. I am $1.66 away from payout! So, though it may be close in whether I make payout or not, not sure that I will be able to pull it off! Oh well, If not it will carry over to next month and have a bigger payout!

Hi grandpabob:) I feel the same,for me its the holidays approaching,thinking of loved ones passed not here to celebrate with us who i loved dearly,trying to get all the gifts before the stores close on monday(HAHA)im a late bird there i think instead of being the early bird and cleaning,taking care of our daughter who is sick with a cold for the past 2 weeks almost but is feeling better today.Its just alot of things to do all at once and im feeling like im on overload ready to pop/burn a fuse from all the fussing here.Id rather be doing all this right now than being on here mylotting and getting nothing done since it is only 5 days away,WOW! I am no getting burnt out, but a bit bored. I look at most of the discussions and they just don't interest me. I can't muster up anything to say to them. I don't answer if I have nothing to say. I keep seeing a bunch of discussions that I feel like I have already answered five other times as well.
