Do you sleep in on Vacations and/or Days off? I do for the later but usually not for the first.
If I am on Vacation, a lot of times I get up just as early, if not earlier, than I would during the work week. Since vacation is so short I want to make the most of each day.
However if it's just a Day off and I'm at home, I sleep in at least a few hours and find it would be easy to sleep all day. I love to catch up on my sleep on the weekends, but I try to force myself awake by 10 so that I don't sleep away my only days off.
So, what about you? Do you like to catch up on sleep on these days off? Or do you instead wake up the same time each day so that you can be productive at home or on vacation?

I normally wake up at the same time regardless if it's a day off. Sometimes I will sleep in, but usually no more than an extra hour. I'll be on leave ( I work seasonal for the forestry service) from Dec 22nd til March 17th, and for the most part I'll get up early, make coffee, and take coffee up to my s/o to wake him up to go to work. Sometimes I'll take an afternoon nap on weekends, but normally I like to be up and doing stuff.

I usually sleep pretty well on vacations. It may take me a little time to actually fall asleep but once i'm gone, i'm gone for a good time. I usually don't get up early unless sombody wakes me up. On days off I have no issues going to bed or wakeing up late. Days off are my time to relax so nobody ever really wakes me up. I get alot of sleep anyway.

Yeah it's harder for me to go to bed on vacation too b/c I am so excited that it's vacation :-D Now that I'm married, I can sleep in on Days off no problem, usually. But in the past my parents would wake me b/c they didn't want me sleeping in a ton. Nowadays "sleeping in" is only 10:00, but I used to be able to sleep til 11 or 12 at times.

On weekends I like to sleep until I wake up. This is usually only one hour longer than the normal work week "wake up time".
If on vacation, I'm usually up by 8 or 8:30--sometimes 7 am even. It just depends on what is planned for the day, how long it will take to get there, etc. I try to get enough rest but it is hard when you are going - going- going all day. Our last vacation was the end of November in Arkansas and we were always up around 7:30 to 8:00 and on the road by 9:00 am for sightseeing. I like to try to get in as much sightseeing as possible on vacation because you never know when or if you will return!
Happy holidays!!

I love to sleep. I have a problem with depression, so when it hits me I will go to bed and sleep a whole weekend. I will sleep until my hubby wakes me up fussing at me. So I try to stay on a routine and get up at least by 7 in the am. Now I slept until 11am this morning but I was up until 3am.

The latest I ever sleep in is 9 and that's a rare occasion. This week since I'd been sick I did sleep in so far this weekend but normally I wake up at 7 even on days off.
I hate waking up late anyway because I feel like I wasted most of my day. Plus think about it. If you wake up at noon, your day IS half over. Even if I do nothing with my day I'd like to have more time to do nothing by waking up early.
