Help with yuwie?

Ok I have been thinking about this, and while I was listening to Y-Radio(yuwie radio) Scott(the poker player mike the mounth's brother) and Bryan Ward we saying what I was thinking. People need to stop looking at yuwie as just a way to make money. I mean yes that is why so many people are there for,but it is a social networking site,it is no different than myspace. If we all start using it that way,and invite or friends in that manner,we could all have more fun. Alot of people are here on Mylot because they enjoy themselves here, and to them the money is just a bonus. I could be wrong but that is just my thoughts on it,what do you think?

I do not make hardly any money on Yuwie, and I have never heard of yuwie radio. But to get back to the subject, why is it bad to make money and yet it is good to make friends and socially network with others? We have lots of social networks, myspace, and others that do not pay. Look at it from a writer's standpoint. We finally found a social network site that pays and since Yuwie pays mostly for referrals, then that is what is looked at, a site where you get paid for referring others. I would rather get paid for what I write, not for how many people who take me up on my invitation.

I understand your point, and I do agree,it is hard for people to even belive yuwie is for real let alone sign up under anyone. Y Radio is a radio show on NowLive.com that helsp people get referrals, talk to the dj's request songs and talk to your friends in a live chat,on my mylot profile I have a link to my yuwie page, which has the y radio widget on it you should listen in Y guy is know to come on the show alot and talk about yuwie and answer questions

The problem is at the moment is that most of your profile views are just people trying to make money. Once Yuwie actually slips into what it is really for--networking--for many of us writers, our blogs will have the best potential for generating page views. At that point, we will start getting paid for what we write. Until then, unfortunately outside of the page views that we generate though use, we will get few page views.

I never really saw yuwie as a way to generate cash for myself. I have many friends there & we just interact & forget that we're being paid for page views & club participations & things like that. You can probably tell who's in it for the money from the friends requests when someone say "Let's make money together" as a friends request comment. I usually either reject them or leave them hanging.

Right I have tons of requests that say that, and with tha kind of mind set I don't see how they will get referrals or get very far.

I'm a member of Yuwie and I don't think it's the same as myspace. It's so hard to navigate and i can't understand how anything works.. However I do agree, people need to look at these sites as more of a networking community than a place to make money. It makes things so much more enjoyable in my opinion.

i have to agree with you. Granted the money is an extra bonus, but if people would use these sites for what they truly are, they wouldn't see it as work! It would make all the communties much better places. I belong to both of these sites, and do what I can to enjoy it, once the enjoyment of either of these sites would leave me, then it would be time for me to move on. Hope this makes sense! First comment here this morning, and I just woke up! LOL

I also have to agree. The money is the bonus, but the site should be treated like a Myspace... another social networking site. I really don't know how Yuwie will be able to sustain the payout platform a couple years down the road. IMO, it's going to be tough for them to make these monthly payouts at some point. But if you treat Yuwie like a social networking site, then who cares! I use the site to promote my online shop, just like many use Myspace to do so and from what I've read about Myspace, Yuwie is very lenient compared to Myspace as far as allowing links. For those who are actively seeking referrals, I think they got into Yuwie at the right time. Those that already building a significant downline are the ones that will be rewarded.

Yep I believe that as well, yuwie is more lenient,Myspace won't even let you talk about Yuwie! I mean what about free speech? I mean why is myspace so scared to let anyone talk about it? Are they afraid they are goin to lose money? Ugh sorry but Myspace has me frustrated. And I really think we all joined at the right time,I have been listening to Y-Radio,and they give awesoem tips on how to talk to your downline and how to get referrals, and I really think Yuwie is going to continue to grow. I mean we have 300,000 members and myspace has like 3 million :)

The only reason I am still on Yuwie is the fact that it has potential as a social networking site. If I would have been there simply for the money I would be long gone already. Yeah, I think the big problem with Yuwie at the moment is that people are guilty of treating as a money cow. If the majority of people continue doing that, it won't survive. It is not the sellers who make a product valuable, but the users of the product. If you like add me to your friends: http://ww1.yuwie.com/morgandrake/

Right on my friend, yes I will be sending you a request soon. I really think if more people listened to Y Radio they would see our points and start using it right.
