Tracking cookies??

Every time I run a virus scan on my computer, it finds tracking cookies. What are they, and how do I get rid of them? I delete cookies once in a while, and I tried to find the tracking cookies by doing a search for the files, but I can't find them. So any suggestions how I can get rid of them? Or are they harmless? It says low risk in the virus scan.

The tracking cookies can range from harmless to an actual threat not perceived properly by antispyware scanners. What you can do to help prevent and alleviate at least some of the cookies: just go to your browser settings and under cookies hit exceptions. Pull up the logs of your antispyware scanner or run an antispyware scan and look at the cookies that come up. Input the sites that appear (adbrite.com and adyieldmanager.com for examples) and then hit block. Contiute to go down the list and block the sites that are placing the cookies. This isn't flawless but it can help.

You should have your anti virus scan for real time protection. Tracking cookies are dangerous. They could get hold of information about you.

Every day i use clean tool which is available on window operating system. This clears all the cookies stored in our computer. Some cookies are harmless we need not worry. If we trust a site, then we can allow cookies from those sites.
