Back after 6 months, How much myLot has changed?

I was a hard core myLotter over 6 months ago. I earned around 20$ last time when I got my payment. Then I had my final year exams, joined a company, and the transition from student to an employee, lost out time to get to myLot, now I am back here after over half an year. So, you people tell me how myLot has changed in these months, would like to know in detail. I remember, the change in the layout when I last logged in 6 months back. How is the payments and earnings now? Are you people getting them, as I used to? I used to get upto 2-10 cents per post. How is it now? I am excited to know.

Well payment still occurs. Most of mylot is the same (both the good and the bad). If you want to really catch up, look at mylot and life as interests and see the discussions there. That may help you catch up on things. A couple of members have been removed for no reason, discussions get removed or abused, star ratings are still abused. Still, the devil is in the details as they say, so I'd at least read up a bit for a better picture.

The first difference I actually noted is that, the new thing called Interest ratings. Though I have not fully understood what it is, (or my level 16, less or more is better?). I have understood this thing will contribute to the way you earn. Also the new web 2.0 interface is sleek and faster. Also my reputation has dropped from 10 to 9 (don't know why.). Otherwise, my dollars are still there, everything is as it is, I had a nice friends' circle here in myLot, don't know if they are still there.

Some people left the site by choice due to not so nice things happening (some of which I described). Interest ratings have some accuracy, but there are also some botches and some cases where its too generous. Might need retooling, but that's just my opinion.

there is less money earned, less people around because of people getting kicked out and people leaving because of unfair practices. people get banned for discussions that are every where it just depends if one of the power hungry people here find your discussion and get it deleted. Beware who you let on your friends list. take care and happy posting.

You are scaring me off, buddy. What is this banning all about? I never heard of it earlier. And why should I restrict my friends' list? And what are those unfair practices?

also i had go out mylot some time, i think that today have less participation that yesterday and why this you earn less money.
Mylot upgraded somethings about the insteresting but i think that this is not important.
