What made you decide to take up the course you chose in college?

I didn't go to college until I was 58 years old and that came about because I have a granddaughter with Downes Syndrome. Helping her when she was a baby and as she got older I couldn't help but get interested in the field of Developmental Disabilities and decided that I wanted to help other kids and adults like her. There are so many things that I could have done in the field that I think it overwhelmed me and after doing an internship at a local day care I took some time off to try to figure out where to go from there. I haven't finished yet but I intend to next year.

I took Teaching profession. I was not my preferred course coz I really hate teaching. My parents idea. They will not let me go to school if I will not take that course, their reason is that the only course they can afford for me since we are seven sisters and all are studying. But when I was in my second year, I choose Bachelor Secondary Education and major Math subject. From then on, my college days has not become boring, since I love also math, especially Statistics and Algebra.

I majored in English because I felt that's what you did when you wanted to be a writer.

Well, I wanted to be a System Administrator. So I took up the course related to computing in my University days. When I graduated, I took up jobs related to my job. Then as the years went by, I got the job I wanted. Not an easy job, but I am loving it!

i love archtecture but i am majoying in software and i have little time to take care other courses .in my free time,i always read some book about nature science caz i am very interested in it.

I'm going to college to be a medical assistant I would really like to work with kids and i knew that and so i decided that this would be the best job to do cuz i would be able to see all ages of children just about every day. I knew i didnt want to be a teacher though and this is something that i think is interesting
