So I have a really good dropshipper that I have used for almost a year now. I usually pay him with paypal, but I am no longer using paypal at all. I have spoken with him and he said that I can pay him via western union. I do not know any particulars of western union. Has anyone on here used them? How do I know the money got to him? What if the money gets lost somehow? Do they do any type of insurance? Now I trust this seller. And he is dropping the price of the uggs that I sell by $7 if I use western union. Is there a huge western union fee?

I usually use Paypal but, Western Union looks alright. My dad uses Nochex and has a wonderful experience with them you might want to try Nochex instead.

http://nochex.com/ it is similar to Paypal and is an online payment company. It does the same as Paypal, but I think it's cheaper and also better. My dad has his own company and needs someone reliable he only has good things to say about Nochex. Hope this helps and have a lovely Christmas to you and your family.

I have used Western Union several times with success. The payment is available for pick-up within ten minutes providing you send the MTCN across to payee in time. But for business, I think it is outrageously costly.

I've used Western Union quite often to pay bills and it's very reliable and secure. You get a receipt with a "Money Control Number" and I usually call the person I sent it to with this number. I think the fees vary according to how much you send but you can enroll as a "Gold" member for free and you get discounts and some transactions for free. There's a way to do it online using a credit or debit card I believe, but I've never done it that way myself. Annie

Hi! My friend in US sent me money by Western Union several times this year, and I think it is safe because of the strict system. First the receiver has to know the passport told by the sender, and then the receiver has to go to the bank with his or her identification card for check, especially he or she must fill the Western Union form with the exact information including the sender's name, his or her name consistent with that offerred by the sender. In the event of any minor inconsistence with the information previously offerred by the sender, then the receiver will not get the money. In this condition, it is reletatively safe and quick, especially used to transfer money from one country to another. However, risks are in any business. So please make sure of the safety if you want to use it.
