The Perfect Proposal...

I have been with my boyfriend for 2yrs and I am dreaming of this moment, he could throw the ring at me for all I care lol nah, that would be a bummer! Is anyone here married,how were you proposed to? If you're not married what is your dream proposal, or the best you could think of? I am really interested in reading these. The show "I propose" on style network makes me cry everytime I watch...I'm such a love sapp.

It was December 31, 1999 and it was VERY cold, even for a seasoned New Englander like myself. I was a little blue, taking down the holiday decorations and thinking of all of the things that I didn't get to accomplish. I had the music blaring, and was waiting for my boyfriend to come over so we could go to a New Year's Eve party at my sister's friend's house.
All of a sudden, I heard a knock, so I went to the door, and there was nobody there. So, I went back to what I was doing. Then I heard the knock again. This time I turned the radio off, to make sure that the knock was for me, and not a neighbor (I was living in an apartment complex at the time with neighbors below, above and beside me). I heard it again, but it wasn't from my door. It sounded like it was my window. It couldn't be, I'm on the second floor. I heard the knock again and had to go and check it out.
It was a knock at the window. My boyfriend had put a ladder up to my window, on the coldest day ever. I was like, "What the heck are you doing? Are you crazy? It's freezing out there?" He obviously wasn't moving, so I opened the window to yell about his craziness, and he had this serious look on his face. I said again, "What the heck are you doing?" and figured it out right after I said it.
I started crying before he even spoke to me. He said, "I've been doing a lot of thinking, and...." pulled out the ring and asked, "would you marry me?"

My former art teacher was a diver. Her boyfriend went with her to dive. He proposed there!! There was a clam and the ring was in it. So sweet!!!
