when we first study to write,we use pencil.
Then at Grade four in the elementary school,i remembered my teacher had requested us to use pen.i was excited at using the new tool to write that i write every word very seriously. At that time if anyone who asked what present i want ,i would ask for a pen without hesitation.
but when i went to middle school ,because of too many homework i began to use ballpen instead.ballpen may make writing fast and more convenient.
At college uni-ball came common,so few people used pen again.then computer is common too,we also began to write little and little.
Now at work,i began to use pen again despite that we completely depent on keyboard writing, only sometimes using to sigh our name.
i believe pen is one of the greatest inventions in the world.i like to use it very much.
do anyone still use it? also love it?

i like to write, whether using pen, pencil, whatever. when i was in 2nd grade, i was one of the first to be allowed to use ballpen (in place of the pencil) by my handwriting teacher. that's because i was one of the few who wrote legibly and that was my prize for being so.
today in the age of the computer, i still like to write although my penmanship isn't as legible as before. i do type fast though and i'm more dependent on the computer now.
but like you, i still love, love, love to write using pen and paper. :)

Yup =) I do use pen. I need it for my work. Pen is also important for signing purposes. For my work, I also need a notebook. The notebook has helped to cut down the use of paper. =)
Comparing pen and pencil, I actually prefer using pencil to write. However, I only use pencil for rough working. When it comes to formal work, we can only use pen. Pencil is good as if you write something wrong, you can just erase and re-write. For pen, you have to either use correction tape or to cancel the mistake. I make more mistakes in writing when I was younger. Now that I am very experienced and focused when I write, I make less mistakes. =)

en,sometimes pencil is convenient than pen because of easily erasing.
At college i often use it to do english problems.

A pen is the only thing i use. I hate using a pencil. I know when we were finally allowed to use a pen in school i was glad. Some pens even have erasers which make it even better!

Yes,I still use my pen,but just fot the time painting.
The most favorate pen for me is the uni-ball pen now. It's not juat for convenient but also it makes the words I write become beautiful, and the words easy to recognize.
There are also some other reasons such as can be longer used and for the fashion, etc.

I've always liked to write with a fountain pen. It's so different than using a ball-point pen, or even a gel pen. The ink just flows and glides over the paper, and looking at the written word is like a step out of time because hardly anybody uses that kind of pen anymore. I usually use the fountain pen to do calligraphy with, or to address envelopes and personal letters. The only down-side to this type of pen is that the ink is not instantly dry as it would be with a ball-point.

Yes, I still use pens on occasion.

I know people who don't have computers. Notes by postal snail mail is needed for them.
*
Pens are also handy for quick notes when a computer isn't available.
*
They are handy when your printer is on the fritz.
*
Some documents require signature by pen.
*
Formal thank-you notes are best written in pen and sent by snail mail.
*
I do drawings by felt tip pen then scan them for touch ups by computer.

Hello!
I use pen everyday at school. It's still common, perhaps the most common thing there is here. I don't have an idea of what is an uni-ball or the other tool you mentioned. Perhaps unfortunately, or perhaps fortunetaly, the computer is now one of the most used things to write. It is a really good thing, since it can correct misspells and things like that. It's an evolution, I see no reason for that to be bad.
By the way, I do not love pens.
Respectfully.

I wonder if there is anyone that does not use a pen, at least occassionaly. We need a pen to fill out a payment check. I also need a pen to write down my user name and password for websites where I can't create them, when they are given by the website. I tried to remember these information in my head, but, since it happened to me once to have to call and ask what my user name was and change my password, I don't hesitate using a pen.

Thank you.
Many people use uni-ball in stead of pen.now all supermarket and shopping mall in our country always supply ballpen or uni-ball to us for filling out the paypment check.

Uh, I'm a high school student and I tend to use mechanical pencils. They're much easier for when I make mistakes, especially in reference to math because it requires a lot of erasing sometimes. Then, for papers I type them, of course, as it's required. I know, however, that a good percentage of my peers do use pens. Quite why, I have yet to figure out. Pencils just seem easier. :)

i grew up using a pencil also until i got to grade 7.. i didnt then and still dont like using ink.. ive used cheap ones and expensive ones and i really dont like them at all.. i dont even like my hand writing with ink.. its easy to see a difference in my writing when i use lead or ink.. in school i used red ink to annoy the teachers who all used red ink to correct and mark out papers etc.. i used pencil as much as possible and still prefer lead over ink
