Without knowing the full story of what Paris has done to her family, I would say her Grandfather was within his rights to change his will. I did read the news article you provided, but there's always skeletons in families that we dont know about. I would say the grandfather has had enough. Better that his millions go to worthy charities.

I did take a look at the news.Yahoo.com I don't blame him, I would do the same thing, she has damaged the Families name. There is always one bad one in the bunch. She has did some wild stuff. Maybe if her parents talk to him things would change, you think?

If she was warned about what she was doing then she deserves whatever she gets, or rather doesn't get. Maybe it will make some others like her smarten up.

I don't think that donating the majority of his money is specifically an attack on Paris at all. I think he's just being generous, and is giving money to people who need it more than the wealthy Hilton family. I think to send a clear message to Paris, he would have left her nothing. Or left a much larger portion to the rest of the family, and less to Paris. Don't forget there are a lot more people in the Hilton family than just Paris - and they're getting "cut out of the will" just as much as she is. The media of course is centering the story around Paris, and making this seem like a family rift (which it may or may not be). And the comment that Paris sullied the family name came second hand - not from Baron Hilton himself. I think it's very generous of him to leave most of his money to help others.

I'm not sure if this is true or not, but she certainly needs a morals clause in order to obtain anything from the estate. I mean, nothing of her person has not been seen by the public at large. i don't think it will change her if it was what her grandpa intended. paris will always be paris. she's spoiled, she's rich and she doesn't care about anybody or anything. and i don't think she'll become poor because of that coz she can generate her own income. whether we like it or not, she is still somebody that people look up to one way or another and she will always have what it takes to be that.

Hi Honey, I believe that every person should earn their own way.. When my Da was going to die we all sold his estate and half was given to Hospice and the other half was given to the cancer society...He did have a small savings account that we split amoung us... I never felt it was my money..It was money that Da earned working hard through the years and when he was gone the money should do something bigger then me!!! xoxoxoxoxo

Way to go Grandad! It's just a shame that her parents haven't taken a stance on her behaviour before now. I would be thouroughly ashamed to admit she was MY daughter as the only excuse is she is rich and spoilt. I am only sorry that it is 97% as I assume she will still get 3% which will keep her in shoes and sunglasses for a while. I only hope the public wakes up to her and stops fueling the lucrative media circus she has created and maybe THEN she will feel the pinch.

for barron hiltom leaving his money to charity is possible.but the article said that he will donate 97% of his property.I doubt it.of course it is a news report.the journalist always like magnify the things.
