I've been waiting for my freebie calendars to come in the mail and the first one just came and it's awesome! I got it on the Betty Crocker web site and not only is it a good size but it has lots of recipes in! Are you all set for calendars for 2008 or have you forgotten about it? Do you buy them or look for free calendars online?

I have three! I get one from my old company I used to work for, it's a transport related one of London, it's a real nice one too, glossy and full of photos of London on it, they made a mistake by sending me two! So I've given one away, I've also got a Leonardo DiCaprio one which I bought off Ebay cheaply, and I'm got a desktop one too, which makes four in total!

I have the 2008 calendar my son made in preschool. It's adorable and each month has a painting of something all using his handprints...a heart for February, a flag for July, a bat for October... S/o has his work calendar. They have a bunch of crews all working different shifts so they print it all out in calendar form so it's easier to keep track of.

Your sons calendar sounds adorable and won't it be fun to see his work every month of the year?

I must admit I don't have mine yet and really do need one. I can't remember the last time I got a free one except from the school and they don't even do that anymore. I will end up buying one but you never know what it will be - nature, animals, bible verses just depends what I see at the moment I have the money to buy one.

I always receive a large, beautiful calendar from my pharmacy when the delivery man brings out my prescriptions for December, ctry, and I think I had gotten one in the mail before that. I do look forward to them, and I share them with others who don't get any. My usual take is about 4 or 5 from different organizations that I deal with throughout the year. I also receive Stephen King's Desk Calendar book each year that is chock full of interesting things and has plenty of space for making notes. That is the only one I pay for.

Stephen King's Desk Calendar huh? I've never heard of it but will have to check into that since he's one of my favorite authors. It sounds like something that I could use.

we made our own this for christmas presents. we have a lot of old pics of the girls when they were growing up (of course, just as any other parent does) and we took a lot this year. (our girls are 10 & 14) we scanned them into the computer and tried to put pics that related to that month. we printed it on card stock and took them to staples where they spiral bound it (it only cost a couple of dollars per) my parents loved it and so did my aunt!!

That's an awesome gift and keepsake for yourself! I always say I'm going to do that and never do. Maybe I'll remember to do it next year. Actually, I should start getting pictures ready now....hmmmm....good project for me to start, thanks for the idea!!!

I buy my calenders. I look for calenders to go with the decor of my home. I love to collect nautical things and found a really preety lighthouse calender at the dollar store for a buck.

I definitely like the freebie calendars. Very seldom have I ever bought one. This year to my surprise I received one from Michigan International Speedway. I'm excited about putting my old one away. I also received one from the farm supply store, filled with lots of information.

I especially like the calendars that have information on them and didn't expect the Betty Crocker one to be so much fun to read!

My mom always buys me a nice calendar for my living room for Christmas she got me a coca cola one. I then pick up calendars at places like the grocery store and banks when they are giving them out for free. I did get one from the hospital in the mail last week too.

I usually forget about them when I'm "out and about"...lol...it's only when I'm online that I think about a calendar. I have no idea why though.

We bought a dollar calender awhile back. It had the last four months of this year and then next year (which was good since our baby got our old calender and ripped it to pieces). Anyway, my husband brought home a couple of much larger calenders as well...

I do not yet have a calender for the 2008 year. Thats pretty scarey when you consider that 2008 is just right around the corner. I have done so many things. Hopefully I will be able to print a calender out off of my computer.

We usually get a calander each from my hubbys mom, but this year, she sent one rolled up calander that she got for free at the pharmacy where my hubby is from. LOL what a nice present. Here i got this for free, so i'll put my name on it and give it to you. Did she think that we wouldnt know it was a freebie ? lol I think she is starting to go crazy personally. Well more crazy. Can you really get free calanders online ? I will have to check that out, cause this one SUCKS.
