R you only involved with mylot for the money?....

I have put such thoughts as that aside already, I just focus on what I should do here and worry not about those people who are simply after the money. I don't even put that "making money" as my interests, since I know I can do more than just earning money. I don't even consider internet as my own source of living, to which most of them do. I don't have any referrals, though I have -they were all inactive and I myself, is a referral. If ever I have earned good here, it is because I was enjoying what I was doing and mylot is very different from what it was before so I'd rather enjoy posting without thinking how many dollars I'll for the coming payment..

no not at all. there are so many sites where you can earn money. I am nowhere active as I am in mylot. i like this place very much. I have so many valuable discussions as well.I have more than 300 frieb=nds here.

When I first joined, I thought, okay, this is kinda cool. But, I was never here for just the money, I have a job. It's fun, there are a lot of different discussions on so many topics, and so many points of view, it's interesting to read. But like you, if the money wasn't here, yep I'd still participate in this site. It's not like we're all getting rich here, the payouts that I do get, every few months, I use for my hobby, scrapbooking, so it's like a little bonus.

I'm with you there! The money is not important, it just adds to the fun.I'm here because I like to write, and I enjoy reading the posts. I've learned a lot, and I've enjoyed helping other myLoters with their problems in some areas. Everybody has expertise in some capacity.

The money helps but its not the only reason I am here. The advice is priceless.

i think this question has been asked so many times by other mylotters as well and i had answered at least 2 times... no, i'm not here solely for the money... i am here to make friends, learn new knowledge, share and have fun with others... the money is like a bonus for me... i've been here for more than a year now and i really enjoy it...

Hello MikesWifey, I participate here for several reasons, yet money is not one of them. In fact, I've never taken a payout, and I've been here for 14 months. I enjoy the variety of discussions. Some very deep, others delving into pure silliness & hilarity. I enjoy learning other people's views, I enjoy sharing knowledge, and I enjoy the comraderie we enjoy with each other. So, I can understand your irritation at the assumption that we're ONLY here for the pennies. I suspect that for the vast majority of us, the pennies don't really mean that much when compared to the community that we've all helped to create. For others the financial aspect of MyLot might be very important. That's OK too. Yet, I imagine they also get much more out of this experience than their monthly payout. There are much more financially rewarding ways to spend our time. The fact is that we're all getting rich from MyLot because of the friendships that we develop, the wisdom we garner, and the many benefits of international social interaction. Plus, we're having fun -- which is its own reward!

I come here for the friends and the discussions, the money is just a bonus like. If ppl are here just for the money, they need to find a higher paying site LOL HAPPY NEW YEAR!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I certainly joined myLot for the money. I learned very quickly that I couldn't stay here for the money, there just isn't enough of it. I have stayed because I enjoy it here. I like the answers and the questions. I like the people and I think it is fun to learn about others.

I know exactly what you mean i joined this cuz i love talking and making friends and its not myspace so you dont have as much to put up with on myspace you dont get much discussion on your blogs so i come here i see what people do and what people need if they need advice...my mom told me about this i thought it would be fun to join i didn't know you made money...but it is a bonus...i would still be here even if you didn't get money so im sure your not alone some people may be here for the money maybe they really need it but that is them and im not the one to jusdge them but also that dosen't mean they can jusdge us

I like the idea of trying to make money but I also enjoy adding comments.Some of the comments that I add I really hope in some ways that I am helping people.I like the idea that maybe something I say might be an encouragement, a joy, something empowering,motivational,helpful in some way.A comment that someone adds might even be Gods way of answering a prayer.Just think,the answer to your prayer could even be found on mylot through my words, through someone else's words. Hey,maybe even something that is written could even be a message from God concerning the plan for your life.Could I be the one to relay an important message from God to you.Could God be using me as this vessel or someone else from mylot ? What if ?

If they take away the monetary benefits and we remain here long enough to see who stays, leaves, and becomes new memebers in the mylot community that would provide some insight on this question I think. I joined at first because of the money. To be completely honest, i found this site because i was searching for ways to make money on the internet. Now that ive been here for about a day or so and half accumulated so many posts already, im finding that money isn't why im still doing this. I really enjoy the views everyone has and even posting and reading the blogs and articles has been a great way of connecting and meeting new people. The bonus is that there's pay; its not the sole reason im here. If it was about the money i probably would have stopped after seeing my day 1 profit :P.

i must admit that the reason why i joined here was the thought of earning money in the internet. i was excited when my friend referred me this site and i signed up right away. but then, after a few months, i discovered that myLot is not just your ordinary money-making sites. i've met friends here, really nice and interesting friends which make my stay here worthwhile. ^__^ and then, i vent here once in a while and a lot of people would take time to listen and give advices. i shared my weird, happy, sad, successful and frustrating experiences and a lot of people are willing to hear it and share their own too. myLot has become an outlet, a stress reliever, an entertainment. for me, myLot is where i have fun with friends while making extra money. ^__^

Money is not the reason that am here at all. I have a job that pays very well. I am online mostly to make friends, and keep in touch with those that I have already made. I think that some people take mylot to seriously. Almost like their only goal is to see their earnings increase each day. I dont get it. You dont get paid enough here to support yourself why would you even try. I say sit back, relax, and make some friends because there are some great people on this site.

When I heard about mylot, I heard about it for the money. I looked around the site and thought, I did this kind of stuff everywhere else on the internet, so why not here and get paid for it! So I signed up. Then I found out how little we get paid but that didn't bother me because I had already found some friends here. So I stayed because it's fun, I love the people and WHY NOT? Am I here for the money? I would say no. I'm here for everything else which has the benefit of making money!
